This is the perfect princess kit, but it’s so much more too!! Don’t believe it? Well, check out the page I made with it:

Me in May 2011

Journaling:
I have so many blessings in my life. In this moment I want to focus on the good things and not dwell on the things that should have gone differently.
I choose to be happy.

The colors and patterns in this kit are just awesome! And it is positively HUGE!

Ju Kneipp also has a new collection at CatScrap today. This girl is amazing, her designs are always so inspiring, they make me want to scrap and create!

I started off with some hybrid. Here is a quick card I made last night:

I’m very glad it’s Friday, now if the weekend would just move and arrive already! πŸ˜‰

June BYOC!

I’m so very excited to be guesting for The LilyPad this month! Look at the fabulous June BYOC goodies! They’re 20% off through the weekend

I had so much fun mixing all these goodies!!

Running Feels Good

Journaling:
I’ve never been a runner, and I still am not one, but last year we started running. We tried to do the Couch to 5k, and failed miserably in week 3. But this spring, we started running again. The weather was cool and just perfect. And while I cannot say I have started to truly enjoy running, it does feel good to run. I am actually disappointed it’s getting too hot for us to run outside.

Mom's Visit Day 2: Breakfast

Journaling:
Before heading to the outlet mall, we had breakfast at Starbucks.

Mom's Visit Day 2: Yummy Treats

Journaling:
After the first round of shopping at the outlet, we headed to the mall and had a snack. We’d never eaten pretzels here and they were so so yummy!

Well, yeah, it appears that I am into yellow/orange lately. πŸ˜‰ I hadn’t realized I scrapped 3 pages with yellow/orange backgrounds until I saw them all together. πŸ™‚

I felt a thrill when I spotted my pages in a few of the store previews. Best feeling ever!! It’s going to be a good month. πŸ™‚

I’ll be back tomorrow to share two gorgeous new kits from two of my designers.

Excited for June!

I made this card for my MIL’s birthday last week. Her birthday is next Monday and I hope the card gets there on time!

I’m so excited that June is here!! Be sure to stop by tomorrow: I have a ton of pages to show you, because I’m guesting at The LilyPad this month!! I’ve been wanting to be a Pollywog for years, and during iNSD I competed in and won the Kiss the Frog contest: apart from being so much fun, it got me this coveted spot! πŸ˜‰ Plus I’ll have some other very pretty stuff to show tomorrow from my designers.

Done with Day One!

Bree’s new kit is in the store, so I can show you the latest pages I’ve been scrapping. This kit is so pretty!

Check out all the sample LOs in the store, they are all just gorgeous! And they really made me want to scrap with this kit. So, here goes!

Mom's Visit Day 1: Aperitif

Journaling:
We tried out the new furniture and torches right away, having an aperitif on the deck. It was lovely! We accomplished a lot today and now we deserve some relax!

Mom's Visit Day 1: BBQ

Journaling:
Tonight we had a BBQ, and everything was so delicious! DH baked some bread, and we had our first corn on the cob of the season, from Florida: it was the sweetest I’ve ever eaten! Then we had a piece of wagyu meat because we wanted my mom to try it. Yum!

Hooray! I have finished scrapping day one! πŸ™‚ Off to scrap the rest of the trip now! πŸ˜‰

Enjoying the Long Weekend

I have really enjoyed the long Memorial weekend. I haven’t accomplished much, but it always feels good to take some time off. I have scrapped some more pages about my mom’s visit. I made two with Bree’s latest kit, and I’m making some more with her soon-to-be-released kit, so look for those in a few days. πŸ™‚

Mom's Visit Day 1: Shopping

Journaling:
After buying garden furniture at BB&B (finally!) and some shoes and clothes at Marshalls, we headed to the Christmas Tree Shop. We love that store and we ended up buying a lot of cheap items, and my mom found a few gifts to bring back home to her friends. I thought it was fun how long the receipt looked! πŸ™‚ Then we went grocery shopping and headed back home to eat sushi.

So far I’ve been scrapping chronologically and making pages that coordinate in pairs so I can put then in an album (whenever that may be…).

Mom's Visit Day 1: Warm Weather Ahead

Journaling:
Go figure: the garden furniture set we bought was missing pieces and was just impossible to put together. So we went to exchange it, and luckily the second time around everything worked just fine. Mom and DH put the pieces together in no time. Finally, after three years, we will be able to enjoy our lovely deck this summer!

I’ve done 6 pages, and I’m only on day one out of seventeen!! πŸ˜‰

Leavin’ On a Jet Plane

No, I’m not going anywhere (I wish!), but Jenn Barrette has teamed up with Laura Banasiak to create a fun, fun travel kit and it’s making me dream of travel to far lands and remember all the trips I’ve made:

I am so in love with the colors of this kit! The world map paper in it is worth the whole kit, IMHO!! The kit is 20% off, and there’s a free with purchase add-on included in the price if you grab it quick. Here’s what I made:

Oh the Places We Will Go card

I recolored the background paper from light blue to green to make the colors pop more. I will be using this kit some more, for sure! I love it! And I’m very happy that the long weekend has started so well: I made 2 cards between last night and this morning. πŸ™‚ Hope to create lots more! πŸ˜‰

New Photo Actions

Bree of Scrap’It designs has been working on some new photo actions, and they are pretty neat!

Here’s a quick example I ran.

I LOVE this picture! And I am also loving my new (now 4 weeks old) lens! πŸ˜‰

Scrapping, Finally!

I am getting back into my normal routine, and scrapped a bit finally! Of course, I started with the new releases for iNSD (and later), and pictures of my mom’s visit. πŸ˜‰

First off, a page with Mari Koegelenberg’s latest kit. I am SO in love with this kit!!

Then two pages with the gorgeous kit and alpha Sahlin Studio released on Friday:

These colors make me so happy! And check out the amazing alpha on my page: you can’t see it in the kit preview, but it is included in the kit and it is quickly becoming one of my favorite alphas ever!
