Crazy 4U

Bree of Scrap’It Designs has a new collection in her store today, and I am kinda in love with it!! 😉

I love the mix of neutral and bright colors. This collection is huge, and a real bargain! I am totally in love with this page I made!

It came together in no time! This collection makes it really easy to whip up a page, since you don’t have to go looking for anything else, there’s so much variety in it!

Free Kit by Scrap’It Designs

After opening her store at Digital Scrapbooking Studio last week (and the 50% off sale is still going on!!), Scrap’It Designs wants to celebrate with a freebie! So make sure you like the Scrap’It Designs page on Facebook to download the elements, and stop by Bree’s blog to grab the papers!

I had so much fun using it! As soon as I saw that playing card, I knew I’d be using it prominently on my page. And here’s what I did:

Yikes, I am SO ready for the weekend to arrive (and it’s a long weekend too, yay!). I was not feeling well today.. in fact, I had to go lie down at 4 pm because I was feeling awful! I have been working too much this week, and I need some rest!
Anyway, I will be posting my next Project Life page this weekend, so that’s something nice to look forward to. 🙂

Circus Fun!

I have scrapped these pages about a month ago, and was waiting to share them when the kit was in the store, so here goes, finally:

I love this kit by Scrap’it Designs! It is so versatile and fun! I used it to scrap my favorite picture from my mom’s visit.

And then I made a photo-less page.

I’m sorry for not being able to share the journaling, since I’m talking about other people, but let me say that scrapping this page was very therapeutic!

Done with Day One!

Bree’s new kit is in the store, so I can show you the latest pages I’ve been scrapping. This kit is so pretty!

Check out all the sample LOs in the store, they are all just gorgeous! And they really made me want to scrap with this kit. So, here goes!

Mom's Visit Day 1: Aperitif

Journaling:
We tried out the new furniture and torches right away, having an aperitif on the deck. It was lovely! We accomplished a lot today and now we deserve some relax!

Mom's Visit Day 1: BBQ

Journaling:
Tonight we had a BBQ, and everything was so delicious! DH baked some bread, and we had our first corn on the cob of the season, from Florida: it was the sweetest I’ve ever eaten! Then we had a piece of wagyu meat because we wanted my mom to try it. Yum!

Hooray! I have finished scrapping day one! 🙂 Off to scrap the rest of the trip now! 😉

Enjoying the Long Weekend

I have really enjoyed the long Memorial weekend. I haven’t accomplished much, but it always feels good to take some time off. I have scrapped some more pages about my mom’s visit. I made two with Bree’s latest kit, and I’m making some more with her soon-to-be-released kit, so look for those in a few days. 🙂

Mom's Visit Day 1: Shopping

Journaling:
After buying garden furniture at BB&B (finally!) and some shoes and clothes at Marshalls, we headed to the Christmas Tree Shop. We love that store and we ended up buying a lot of cheap items, and my mom found a few gifts to bring back home to her friends. I thought it was fun how long the receipt looked! 🙂 Then we went grocery shopping and headed back home to eat sushi.

So far I’ve been scrapping chronologically and making pages that coordinate in pairs so I can put then in an album (whenever that may be…).

Mom's Visit Day 1: Warm Weather Ahead

Journaling:
Go figure: the garden furniture set we bought was missing pieces and was just impossible to put together. So we went to exchange it, and luckily the second time around everything worked just fine. Mom and DH put the pieces together in no time. Finally, after three years, we will be able to enjoy our lovely deck this summer!

I’ve done 6 pages, and I’m only on day one out of seventeen!! 😉

Here’s the schedule of all the fun going on:

And there’s more sales! Mari Koegelenberg’s store is 30% off through May 8! And Bree of Scrap’It Designs has a 30% sale and a giveaway on her Facebook page:

I think this is all the news I have to share for today. But I’ll have more fabulous products to share tomorrow!

iNSD and Other Designer News

With all the excitement for my mother’s visit, I forgot to post last week’s Project 52 Cards picture:

P52 Cards - Week 18

You can see the Week 18 card here.

This isn’t the best time of the year to have your mom come visit, with iNSD and all the fun activities in the digital scrapbooking world… Of course I am delighted that my mom is here and don’t regret a thing, so I’ll have to sit out on all of the digi fun and catch up later. It has only been 6 days since I made the last few cards (one is in the post below, and watch out for the other two in the next couple of days 😉 ), but I am itching to create already! 🙂 But in the meantime I can show you all the goodies my fabulous designers have created. Mari Koegelenberg has an amazing new kit out today:

I seriously cannot wait to scrap with it!!!!! It has the right combination of vintage/classic feel, gorgeous patterns and bright colors: right up my alley! She also has a coordinating grab bag:

It is such an amazing deal! Check out the previews in the store to see what’s included. Mari’s papers are so gorgeous for hybrid too, with rich textures and pretty patterns. I can’t wait to use these products! 🙂

I am also very excited to tell you that Brianna Cox of Scrap’It Designs is back to designing after a break. She was the first designer who picked me as a CT member and I can’t wait to see what she creates in the next few months! She has already started with this gorgeous new kit:

It is so pretty! I see myself making a few crazy clustering pages with this kit. 🙂 AND, there’s more: Bree is having a CT call:

She is so sweet and being on her team is lots of fun, so do apply! I will be back tomorrow to show you some more iNSD products and drool a bit. 😉

Blue Horizon

It has been several months since Bree came out with a new kit, but she finally did, and it’s soooo pretty!

All the blue was perfect to scrap this picture of DH from last Friday. 😉

This page came together in no time, but then it took me forever to decide where to place the journaling!! I tried it under the picture, to the side.. I ended up putting it in the opposite corner. I’m sure the LO would have looked much prettier without journaling, but I had quite the story to tell! 😉
And then I made another page, because I just loved the tree element and the branch, and had to use them!

And this kit is 20% off until April 3, so make sure you grab it quick! 😉
