I’m Still Speechless!

When I saw the gorgeous, amazing, huge collab that Britt-ish Designs and Sahlin Studio put together, I was absolutely speechless! And I’m still speechless, because there is so much gorgeousness in this collab, that I feel like I could scrap a whole album with it, and not be tired! πŸ™‚
Let me show you what I’m talking about. First, there’s this kit:

84ee00b1b07f6ca26d28250f2f82f0ad[1]

Which is completely stunning by itself. But it’s not all! There is a series of add-ons, for many different countries! Here’s the bundle (they are available for sale separately, but the bundle is more convenient):

2851b90dd2db318c236686e38c0e820a[1]

There’s also a mega bundle that saves you the most $$$:

So far I only played with the kit, but let me tell you… it’s fabulous! πŸ˜‰ Here’s my page:

A few weeks ago I fortuitously realized it was something like 980 days since our wedding day, so I told DH, we saved the date, and last week we celebrated our 1000th day since our wedding. πŸ˜‰ We like to celebrate fun things like that! πŸ™‚ Plus, it’s really a special number, if you think about it! πŸ˜‰

We had a lot of snow these past couple of days, and let me tell you, it’s really gorgeous!!

I Know..

I know, I’ve been unusually silent these past few days. Well, the fact is, I’ve been busy with a ton of administrative work (we had a CT call at ScrapMatters, plus I’ve been working on some banners), and haven’t had much time to create (well, I did work on a very cute project this weekend, but since it’s for March’s newletter, I can’t show it yet..).
But, I do have a few things to show you nonetheless. πŸ™‚ Here’s the project I made for the February newsletter at ScrapMatters. If you aren’t signed up yet, you really should, because apart from my tutorials, which you understandably may not be interested in ;), there’s a lot of inspiring articles, and a free kit every month!
This project is for St. Patrick’s Day (as if you couldn’t tell.. ha!) and was made using the free kit that came with the newsletter.

Next, a couple of pages with Friday’s new releases at ScrapMatters. I absolutely LOVE anything that Jennifer Barrette designs.. and this gorgeous kit is no exception!

An adorable kit.. for adorable puppies!

Next, take a look at these stitches by Chelle’s Creations:

These have endless possibilities! The stitches and the holes come on different layers, so it’s really easy to shadow them properly! I love these stitches!!

That’s it for now, but I scrapped tonight, so I will have something to show you on Friday! πŸ˜‰

Well, Well.. It’s Friday!

It’s Friday (well.. in a couple of hours.. ;)), and apart from meaning that the week is finally almost over (yeah!!), it means there’s double releases by Amy Sumrall, one at Tthe LilyPad (her digi-home) and one at ScrapOrchard (where she’s guesting this month)! This means double goodies for you (and for me!!)! πŸ™‚
First, let me show you this amazing collab with Designs by Lili and Emily Merritt:

I have to tell you: I am not in the mood for spring right now, since everything is white outside my window, but this kit really inspired me! And, it’s 20% off all weekend!
I went crazy for the pink, and here’s my fun page:

So Much Sweetness!

Mari Koegelenberg has a new, adorable, super-sweet kit out today! It’s 20% off today and tomorrow.

Look at those adorable glittery stamps!! They’re so yummy!
This kit was just perfect to scrap a couple of pages with pictures from this past Valentine’s Day! πŸ™‚ I did a page with DH’s gift:

(he actually loved my Valentine coupons!!) and a matching page with my gift:

I really cannot understand my husband. He’s always complaining I spend too much time crafting, and then he gave me a laminating machine for Valentine’s Day! Does this make any sense at all??? πŸ™‚
Then, when I was scrapping this page I asked him if it looked like a heart to him.. Of course, he wasn’t helpful at all – he said it looked like a heart if you have a lot of imagination… :-/ Yeah, right! What was I thinking when I asked for his opinion? Well, it certainly looks a heart to me and I had lots of fun making this page! πŸ™‚

$2 Tuesday!

Yep, it’s Tuesday and this means there are some great $2 deals in Mari Koegelenberg’s store! Has Tuesday become your favorite day of the week yet? πŸ˜‰
Go check out here what’s for sale today.

Many of the products for sale today were in Mari’s November grab bag, so if you missed the grab bag, this is a great chance to get them now! Here’s a LO I did showcasing a few of those products:

And It Keeps Getting Better!!

OK, you know the drill: Amy Sumrall is guesting at ScrapOrchard this month, so in addition to her regular products at the LilyPad, she’s working on some exclusive kits for ScrapOrchard.. But this week she completely outdid herself! I seriously cannot pick the favorite out of the three new products she has out today!
First, let me show you, this amazing collab with mle Card:

Here’s a fun page I made with it:

Finally, isn’t this the prettiest kit ever?? Makes me long for spring even though it’s still months away! πŸ™‚

Yuck, the week is over already, and I haven’t had time to scrap anything except this last page! :-/ I had to work a lot for a paper deadline next week.. I hope to catch up during the weekend! πŸ™‚

Want to Get Organized?

If you feel you should organize your time better, (and who doesn’t, huh? πŸ˜‰ ) then you really have to check out the new products in Mari Koegelenberg’s store. She has a great set of creative page planners, weekly planners, monthly planners, and designer planners. There’s also a collection pack with all of the planners:

Check out all these products in her store.. they’re 20% off now and Thursday!

Ready for Valentine’s Day?

I’m almost ready for Valentine’s Day. πŸ™‚ I made a pretty box to hold my Valentine coupons, so I only need to write the coupons (will do that tonight while DH’s not home! πŸ˜‰ ) and I’ll be all set. πŸ™‚

Here’s some more shots:

It’s sooo pretty! Hope DH likes it! πŸ™‚ I even rounded the corners of the coupons now (I bought a gorgeous corner rounder on my latest online shopping spree!!) but I don’t have pics of that.

Now, on a personal note: I bought a laptop on Sunday because I need it for work (so I can bring work home more easily too.. lucky me, huh.. :-P), but since I alread have my fancy Mac desktop at home for scrapping and everything else, I couldn’t afford getting a Mac laptop too. It also wouldn’t have made any sense, because all of the programs I run for work only work on Windows.. So, I bought a cheap but powerful Windows laptop… and I’m loving it! I didn’t expect to like it so much, after being a converted Mac girl.. but I do! I hope it doesn’t disappoint me! πŸ˜‰

Hybrid Projects

I have a couple of hybrid projects from last month to share. I am so proud of how these turned out! πŸ˜‰
The first two were for my Secret Santa gifts (ugh.. my first gift got lost in the mail.. so I had to make new gifts.. :-/). I made a photography frame since the recipient is a photographer:

and a personalized scratch pad holder:

I sent her the penguin card too:

Then, I made some gifts for a Secret Valentine! πŸ™‚ (this time the gifts arrived safely the first time.. phew!)

I made a matching card + candy dispenser πŸ˜‰

Lemme show you some details:

And then I made her a frame!

All by Mari Koegelenberg Creations:

Here’s some details:

I loooove my glossy accents!

Glitter stickles are pretty neat too!

I inked the prima flower since the color was too bright and it turned out just perfect for this project!

I have rapidly become a fan of distressing ink. A fan?? Let’s admit it: I cannot live without it!

And that’s it for my Secret Santa and Valentine! πŸ˜‰ I do have some more hybrid goodness to show you, but I’ll leave that for a later post. In the meantime, if you aren’t signed up for the ScrapMatters newsletter, make sure you sign up, because I have a very neat project for the February newsletter, which is going out soon. πŸ™‚
