I’m a bit late in posting this, because Black Friday = putting up the tree for me! 🙂 But there are some very sweet deals to be had online today! I’ll start with a Christmas kit, since I am in Christmas mode now that the tree is up. 🙂
Seriously, isn’t this the perfect Christmas kit?? I made two tags with this gorgeous kit.
And I also made a free printable with a flattened version of both tags that is available on the Sahlin Studio blog. 🙂 Enjoy!
Check out all the sales and promotions going on at The Lilypad!
Next up, a kit by Jenn Barrette – I made a card with it,
and a page too!
Finally, a wintery kit by Mari Koegelenberg. And here’s my page – we got snow early this year!
How was your Black Friday? 🙂
Actually, today it’s one month minus one day to Christmas! I used this pretty kit by creashens that is 50% off today through Thursday to scrap the beginning of the season.
I used it to scrap a couple of snapshots of my December Daily preparations. (I haven’t done much at all, I just pulled out my Christmas supplies basically. 🙂 )
I am up on the write.click.scrapbook blog today with some December Daily advice.
Check it out to see a recap of my 2010-2012 albums, and what my plans are for this year.
Do you document your December? I’d love to hear!
I also want to share a sneak to my page for the December gallery.
Can you guess what the theme will be? 🙂
I have a couple more cards to share for my December Daily album. These are from a gorgeous Christmas collection by two of my favorite designers ever (isn’t it just awesome when they team up?? ;)), Mari Koegelenberg and Jenn Barrette.
Here are my mock pages (photos are from last year, but these cards will go in the 2013 album).
The Santa + reindeer card is totally adorable!!
Are you going to put together a December Daily album this year? What are your plans? I’d love to know! 🙂
As I promised, here is what I have put together so far for this year’s December Daily album using the Document Your December products at The Lilypad.
Truth be told, I have an excess of Christmas paper products already, but as soon as I saw these digital cards I knew I had to get them printed out and into my album. They are just too cute not to use!
This year I will make things simple and use a pocket page album. A Handbook album by Studio Calico to be exact. I won’t be premaking pages, but I did steal a few photos from last year’s album to show how these cards will look like in the album. 🙂
We have already gotten snow this year so I’m hoping in a whiter Christmas than we had last year.
I always love including a calendar card towards the beginning of my album.
The colors of this collection are so much fun!
These cards may very well be my favorites of the bunch.. although it’s hard to pick a favorite! 🙂
This definitely gets me even more in the mood for Christmas! Only a little over two weeks to December now..
I’ll be back tomorrow with a couple more DD things. 🙂
The new Document Your December (DYD) releases at The Lilypad have gotten me in the mood for Christmas! I have an exam tomorrow morning, so I have to keep this post short and sweet.. but I will be back tomorrow evening to show you the first printed bits for my 2013 December Daily album. 🙂 In the meantime, check out the DYD section in the store, and here’s a digi page I made.
I’ll be back tomorrow with more!
Yay, more scrapping from me! 🙂 I used this gorgeous new kit by creashens. I took these pictures yesterday.. I love the colors of fall! All the leaves are almost gone..
I am in love with that cute fox!!
I’m back! I was out all week for a conference and it is so good to be home! After catching up on some much needed sleep, I scrapped! And today is the last day to grab this awesome bundle at Digital Design Essentials:
It is seriously a steal at only $3!! There’s a paper pack, a set of journaling cards, some adorable foxes and embellishments, a gorgeous set of word art, and a wood alpha. Here’s my page.
That fox paper is just adorable!! OK.. I’m off to scrap some more now! 🙂
The theme for the November gallery at write.click.scrapbook is Dreaming. I let myself embrace the Christmas spirit and made this page, Dreaming of a White Christmas.
But rather than just a white Christmas – even though I firmly believe that snow must be had at Christmas!! – I am dreaming of spending the holidays with my family. It’s not going to happen – yet again – this year, and it makes me sad..
Here are a few detail shots.
I added some watercolors behind the white alpha to make it stand out. 🙂
Amy wrote a great post
that was inspired by this page. What are you dreaming of for Christmas?
Happy DSD! And happy November!! The party is ON at The Lilypad!
Here’s a page I made with the gorgeous November BYOC (build your own collab):
Alas, I am off to a statistics exam this morning, but if you have better luck than me and have the chance to hop on in the forums, you’ll find fun games and prizes! Including my personal favorite, Kiss the Frog. 🙂 Happy DSD!
