It’s Here

Leora Sanford has a new collab with Paislee Press today! I love the style of both these designers, so I was really happy to hear they were working on a kit together! It did not disappoint!

I had my first salted caramel macchiato ever last week, and I loved the instagram picture I took of it, so I thought it would be fun to make a page about it. 🙂

Desperately trying to get to the end of the week.. I have a couple of extremely busy weeks ahead of me, but I am so tired already! I do have quite a few more pages to share, so do stop by soon. 😉

Halloween mini

Halloween in September?? Why not? 🙂 Especially when it’s a mini kit by the awesome Leora Sanford!!

And, it is 30% off right now! I had fun using this lovely background on my page!

New (Old) Kit!

Leora Sanford has re-released a great collab kit with Designs by Lili:

And it’s 20% off! This is one kit I’ve always liked, but for some reason I’d never used it before now. Here’s what I made with it:

I love this picture of my husband!

New Frames

Leora Sanford has a new set of frames in the shop today. These are so versatile and fun!

The stripes come in a separate layer, so it’s they can be recolored in an instant. I used them to scrap my first Valentine’s page of the year. 🙂

I have lots of plan for the weekend, I hope I can cut myself out plenty of crafty time! 🙂

Happy Monday!

Leora Sanford has teamed up with one of my favorite designers, Kitty Designs, to create this gorgeous collab in the store today!

The colors are just so pretty!! I scrapped a picture of DH that I took yesterday.

Happy Monday, and have a great start of the week!

Reflections on the New Year

Leora Sanford has a new kit out today. It’s all about change and it made me want to scrap a page about starting a new year.

Leora is one of the designers that do magic. I cannot explain it in any other way. I open up her kit, start putting things on my page, effortlessly, and I end up loving my page so much. It happened again with this page. It is quite different from my usual style, but I love it!

A New Year with You

I usually avoid new year resolutions like the plague, because I hate not following through. But this year I am feeling really good about the new year. Maybe it’s because I am writing my proposal and it feels so good to see the end of this PhD in sight. Maybe it’s because DH and I are waiting to hear back about some interesting prospects for him and I am so hopeful. Or maybe it’s because I am 30 and it’s about time I made some resolutions and stuck to them! 🙂 So, here goes. My resolutions this year are to work well, have fun crafting productively, keep up with my Project Life, lose weight and make exercise become a part of my routine. And most of all, enjoy the journey!

Baby It’s Cold

Leora Sanford and Valorie Wibbens have created a gorgeous new kit out today, Baby It’s Cold:

It’s available at Oscraps and at The Lilypad, and it’s 20% off this weekend. I love the colors of this kit! AND, there is a great free with purchase offer: if you buy the kit, you will get this quickpage+template set for free

Here’s what I made with it:

I only wish I had more snow pictures this year, but alas, the one depicted was the one and only snow we have seen so far this year.

I also made a page for my 2013 calendar (trying to plan ahead for once 😉 ):

I was loving this picture we took on Christmas day but didn’t feel like scrapping it with a normal page, so I decided to get started on the calendar. 🙂

Noel

Leora Sanford is re-releasing this Christmas kit today. It’s called Noel and I know you need it! You might not know that you need it, but believe me, you do! 🙂

So why do you need this kit? Well, to me, Leora’s designs have some kind of magic. Whenever I open up a kit of hers, even if I have no idea what to do with it, my page just comes together effortlessly and quickly. The same happened with this kit. I looked for some Christmas pictures, and this page just happened. And I love it so much!

Surviving Black Friday

I was busy shopping yesterday (we went out at 6AM for our first Black Friday, and it was a success!!), but I have to show you two kits by Leora Sanford that are back in her store now! They are both really gorgeous. I love it that Leora’s kits make it so easy to scrap a page! There’s a Christmas kit that I truly love:

I’ve used this kit last year in my December Daily album and it’s a classic – I love that red patterned paper! And then there’s this beautiful and versatile kit:

which I’ve used for this page:

This page seriously came together in no time, and I love it!

Anyway, going back to Black Friday… It was our first time heading out early, but we were really lucky and got some great deals (we went for clothes mainly, but I also picked up some photo paper 50% off at Staples, which is great)! I also did some online shopping before heading out: I bought RadLab and a sewing machine. Yay!! I seriously got all I wanted for Christmas! 🙂

New Kit by Leora Sanford for DSD!

I am so excited to share my first page for Leora Sanford’s CT! She has this gorgeous new kit out today for DSD and her store is on sale 30% off!

I spent the weekend and beginning of the week in Washington, DC for a conference, but the first thing I did when I came back home was scrap with this gorgeous kit. The colors are sooo perfect for pictures of autumn!
