July BYOC!

Yay, I am so happy to share another gorgeous BYOC at The Lilypad! I know I say this every month… but I’m really in love with this month’s BYOC! πŸ™‚

I love these colors!! I started by making a page with a picture from the 4th of July. It was a super hot day, but we braved the heat and went to see the fireworks show (LO to come..). πŸ™‚

I also made a card:

You Are Awesome card

I know I’ve mentioned it already, but I just love how having my own scrap desk now makes me create so much more! It takes no time at all to fire up my Silhouette, and I even added glitter to this card (on the flower). πŸ™‚ I love glitter, but I often am too lazy to play with it.. But I really should get it out more often!

I know I’ll be definitely using this gorgeous BYOC for a few more pages, hopefully this weekend!

New (Old) Kit!

Leora Sanford has re-released a great collab kit with Designs by Lili:

And it’s 20% off! This is one kit I’ve always liked, but for some reason I’d never used it before now. Here’s what I made with it:

Next, Jenn Barrette has an awesome new collab in the store today.

I started designing a card, and then suddenly I had the inspiration to make a cutout with my Silhouette. I am so excited about how it turned out! πŸ™‚

Fresh

Oh my goodness, I haven’t posted on my blog in almost a month! This goes to show how busy I’ve been lately… πŸ™ To top it off, I was in the office until midnight last night. Yes, midnight!! πŸ™ But I still managed to squeeze in a little time earlier in the week to play with Sahlin Studio’s latest collab, Fresh:

Isn’t it just gorgeous?? I lately got a new desk for my crafts, and I tried it out for the first time working on this card. I also used my Silhouette, since with the new arrangement it is much easier to turn it on and connect it to my computer. So expect to see plenty of cut out goodness in the future! πŸ˜‰

So while the design and cutting of this card went very fast, what took me the longest was actually putting the card together: there’s lots of layering so at some point I felt like I needed an extra hand. πŸ˜‰

Have a great weekend!

Project Life – Week 17 and Week 18

I did manage to catch up quite a bit this weekend, although not completely, and I have two more weeks to share. πŸ™‚

Project Life - Week 17

Very little digi on this week, and plenty of stamping.

Project Life - Week 17

I mapped out on Google Maps an itinerary for a trip we planned but I overlapped a screenshot for sharing because I don’t want to divulge where I live.

Project Life - Week 17

Yum, DH made pretzels this week, and they were so good! πŸ™‚

Project Life - Week 17

I went green on green for the title. πŸ™‚

Project Life - Week 17

Lots of fun stamping! πŸ™‚

Let’s move on to Week 18. I really love how this one came together! Once again, I have almost no digi parts.

Project Life - Week 18

Here’s a closer look to this week.

Project Life - Week 18

The color scheme for this week is orange and navy. I found an old ink pad that I bought almost 5 years ago, well before I started any hybrid- even before I started digi scrapbooking in fact. It’s orange, and it stamps so well!! It’s a pigment ink, and now I am convinced I must buy more pigment inks. It stamps so easily, and the images are so clear. I am so excited! πŸ™‚

Project Life - Week 18

Very simple to put together, I just had plenty of fun stamping.

Project Life - Week 18

I am so proud of how I made the eight out of a B! πŸ™‚ Just a few more closeups, because I love these stamps so much. πŸ™‚

Project Life - Week 18

And these…

Project Life - Week 18

And these! πŸ˜‰

Project Life - Week 18

I have the first half of Week 19 done, but alas I had to stop. I’m currently 1.5 weeks behind, but it will get worse in the next few weeks, as I won’t have time to catch up. πŸ™

It was so much fun!! Here’s what it looks once it’s opened up:

Project Life – Week 15 and Week 16

Wow… almost 2 weeks since my last blog post! I have been really busy lately, and it’s not over… But I do want to share some of my Project Life. I am 3 weeks behind – I seem to be  constantly 3 weeks behind. Let’s see if I can catch up some during the weekend. Here is Week 15 – I love how it turned out!!

Project Life - Week 15

I used the April BYOC from The Lilypad for this spread. I love the colors!

Project Life - Week 15

I also put my Silhouette to good use this week to cut out a few words.

Project Life - Week 15

This week we went car shopping, so that was the theme of the week.

Project Life - Week 15

I used my new stamps from Ali Edwards, in addition to the Studio Calico ones. I painted the alphabet letters with orange acrylic paint, and spray misted the wood veneer car.

Project Life - Week 15

I am loving these screenshots of my and DH’s votes for Dancing with the Stars each week!

Project Life - Week 15

I cut out words for all the car manufacturers we visited this week. I love the doily stamp by Amy Tangerine!

Project Life - Week 15

Here I stamped and wrote on the digital labels by Valorie Wibbens. Cute!

Project Life - Week 15

I am in love with the wood veneer stars!

Project Life - Week 15

I tried stamping on the blue masking tape – it worked! The orange stamps here were stamped with acrylic paint.

This is one of my favorite weeks ever! Now let’s move on to Week 16.

Project Life - Week 16

I kept it simple this week, with little digi, mostly is paper and stamps. I love the look!

Project Life - Week 16

I had tons of pictures this week, since we bought our new car and I had to document that, but I didn’t want to have to add inserts. I think it worked out well! The entire left page is just about one day. πŸ™‚

Project Life - Week 16

I spray misted the wood veneer car with a silver coat, so it looks like our car. πŸ™‚

Project Life - Week 16

We recently got in the mail one of those ads – “you won a car!” – and as soon as I saw it I knew I’d be using that key in my PL album! πŸ˜‰ The timing was just perfect! πŸ™‚
