Mari Koegelenberg has paired up with Shawna Clingerman to design this gorgeous new kit!
With the theme, I scrapped a screenshot I’d taken of a Skype call with my mom and grandma.
Have a great weekend!

Have a great weekend!
It’s time for the quarterly sale at The Lilypad!
The new releases out today are absolutely gorgeous, and they are all 30% off too! I have had a crazy week, so I was only able to do one quick thing. I used the new products by Sahlin Studio – I am totally in love with them!
These vintage cards are so much fun!!
I made a card for my Project Life:
Since I’ve been tracking my weight weekly in my PL album since January, this card was just perfect!! 🙂 I also used some new stamps I just bought this week (for “LOG”) – cute!
Hoping to get caught up a bit on my PL album this weekend.. but since I have work to do (sigh…), I’m not sure how much progress I’ll make. 🙁
In the middle of a swamped week, let me stop by to share another page I made over the weekend with the April BYOC. Have I told you how much I love this month’s BYOC’s colors? 🙂
There is a new fun pack of frames by creashens that came out this past week!
These frames come with worn overlays, and they are so cool! The square format makes them perfect for the Instagram pictures we’ve been taking with DH’s iPhone. I also used the gorgeous kit by creashens that is free this month for MSA newsletter subscribers – make sure to join here if you haven’t already.
Have a great week!
Mari Koegelenberg has a new kit in the shop today!
I love these spring colors! I have a lovely Easter project in mind, but given that Easter is tomorrow and I am swamped with work, I am not sure that it will happen… We’ll see. 🙂 In the meantime, here’s a page I made with this gorgeous kit:
That flourished alpha is to die for!
It’s the most exciting time of the month – BYOC time!!! The April BYOC at The Lilypad is extraordinary. It’s no mystery that I love bright colors, and these colors make me so happy!
Alas, this week has been crazy for me, so I have not had time to play with the BYOC nearly as much as I wanted. But, I am in love with what I’ve used so far, and I can’t wait to use more! Here’s what I’ve used:
As soon as I saw this album template, I knew I wanted to make something hybrid! So, even though time was limited, I went for it. 🙂 I also used this stunning kit by Jenn Barrette, who is guesting at The Lilypad this month:
Another guest designer is Michelle Godin – check out these awesome alphas!
Finally, Sahlin Studio has these super versatile new products:
I’ve been loving the instagram look and I’m so happy to be able to add this frame to any picture, now!
And here is my hybrid page.
I had so much fun with this! I’m not sure if I will turn this into a full album or if I will just insert this page into my Project Life album. Here are a few close ups. I totally embraced the messy stitching! 🙂
I still am having trouble stitching on photos, since they don’t get fed as smoothly as other paper in the machine, but it all worked out in the end.
The topic of this page is a random collection of things that make me happy. Most of the pictures were from DH’s phone, but not all.
I misted some Studio Calico wood veneer to match the colors of this BYOC. Fun!!
Have a fabulous weekend!
And YAY, this project got spotlighted on the One Story Down blog today. 🙂
I finished Week 12 last Sunday, but only got a chance today to take some pictures of it in daylight (not much of that, either, but it will do.. :)).
This was a fun week to put together. Since both I and DH were out of town (separately) for most of the week, I was expecting not to have that many pictures, but in fact I ended up having a ton of pictures! I brought my point-and-shoot with me, and DH took pictures on his phone. To save time and go with the travel theme, I used a lot of maps from my trip as background. I love the look!
Other than maps, I just used the grid journaling cards and stamped dates. I cut them and used other smaller pieces for journaling.
I love the look! The photo templates by Designs by Lili came in really handy to fit in all my photos this week. Here are some detail shots.
I was in California and I loved the spring blooms!
For the days I was back home (Sat. & Sun.) I didn’t use the maps as backgrounds.
Well, that’s that. I still am {one + current} weeks behind, and unfortunately I have work I need to get done this weekend, but it should be fine. I’m not that behind. 🙂
Supplies:
4×6 Photo Collages , 4×6 Photo Collages no. 2 and 3×4 Photo Collages by Designs by Lili
12 sticker from Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection
See and Stamp alpha stamps
Washi tape
Studio Calico stamps
Smash date stamp K&Ccompany
I am running behind this week! I’m only getting around to posting about the Something Old, Something New sale at The Lilypad when there’s just a few hours left in the day.. oh well, this is what my week has been like. :/ But these awesome products are 50% off, so it’s a fantastic deal!
And here is my page, better late than never!
See you on Friday for the fabulous April BYOC! 🙂
I rarely ever scrap for challenges nowadays, but whenever I do, somehow I end up with pages that I truly love. This one is no exception.
I made this page for a challenge at Club Creating Keepsakes – it was my very first LO uploaded there, and I was picked for the weekly highlights! Pretty cool!!
A very good way to start the week. 🙂
