By the Way..
July has arrived, so this means that for the next 2 months, I’m guest CT for Juno Designs! 😉
End of June
July sneaked up on me too fast and last night I realized the end of June had arrived, and I was a few points short for getting my GC at ScrapMatters.. So, I had to put together 2 pages to get to 60 points. 😉 I used my favorite kit as of late, Life’s a Beach by Sahlin Studio. 😉
This one was for a My Story Matters challenge, about a vacation we did as kids:

I didn’t spend too much time trying to fix them, but I’m really disappointed that I couldn’t get the pictures to look any better. They were all so blue! I just desaturated them a bit, but I need to look up a good tutorial so I can improve them.
And this was for the In Living Color challenge:

Flowers from Seriously Cute by Britt-ish Designs
OK, that’s it for June! 😉
Busy Week!
This has been a super busy week so far and I’m really glad it’s a short week! Can’t wait for tomorrow to be over, so I can finally relax and scrap! 😉
Anyway, Monday night I did my page for Week 3 of the ScrapOrchard CT contest. I have to say that even this week the kit was not my typical style (yes, again!), but I LOVE the page I did!

Yes, I really love this page. It’s totally my style and I loved playing with this kit!
I started out thinking I might try my hand at a fantasy LO, but that just isn’t my style: so I incorporated what I had done (the watercolor blue/green paper, tower and the princess) as a scene in my LO. 😉 So, yes, it turned out to be totally ‘me’: bright colors, pretty elements, journaling.. Maybe a bit too cluttered, but I love it. I really hope to pass this turn but I know it’s going to be super tough. The gallery is filled with amazing entries and I feel like I should have spent more time on my page to get a shot on making the cut.. But hey, that’s what I came up with, and I love it, and I hope it’s good enough!

It’s $2 Tuesday at the DigiChick and I cannot believe the amazing deals today!!

I forgot to post this page from last week!! I did it for the latest Roadmap to Scrap at ScrapMatters and I’m really proud of how it turned out! 😉

I made this cupcakes during my mom’s visit, and she picked the US theme. 😉 I’m very happy with how they turned out, because red is very hard to obtain when coloring fondant, but I think it turned out very nicely!
Project 365 and Other News
Last week I didn’t do my P365 page because my mom was here and I didn’t have time for it, but this weekend I did 2 weeks’ worth of pages and I’m all caught up again. 🙂

I love the summery colors of these pages! 😉
And, some excellent news: I made it through the second cut in the CT contest at Scrap Orchard and I’m now in week 3!! This cut was a big one and only half of the contestants are going on: I feel so lucky to be going on!
Page Done with Mini Sampler
The CT call for Mari Koegelenberg was different from the usual calls: she wanted the applicants to use a mini sampler of her designs to create a LO or a hybrid project. Here’s what I did:
