A Little Card and a Big Sale

Happy Tuesday everyone! Look what’s for sale for only $2 today:

This collab is gooooorgeous! 😉 I used it a while back for this frame that hangs in my living room, and this weekend I made this pretty little card with it:

So cute! And I’m getting more and more in love with my cutting machine every day! Yes, the flower on the left of the bracket is cut out too.

Sweet & Simple September

Gina Marie Huff has the new Sweet and Simple kit for September in her store at Weeds and Wildflowers, and I’m completely in love with it!!

The colors are sooooo pretty! I love all the gray with pops of pink, blue and green. So inspiring!
And the alphas and wordart… to die for!!

Here’s what I scrapped with it:

Yeah, it’s been a rough few weeks and I just needed to vent. Scrapping is great therapy! 🙂
Then I made another page about my mom’s visit back in May – I wonder if I will ever finish scrapping those pictures! 😉

This page is my favorite of the few pages I’ve done lately. I just love how the shadowing turned out!

#501

Well, it appears that this is my blog post #501. I never noticed the number of posts, but as I logged in to write this I noticed my blog had exactly 500 posts. 🙂
Anyway, I’m here to show you a gorgeous collab that is in the store today, by Rachel of Captivated Visions and Jenn Barrette:

This kit is just perfect for all of us who love digi!!

Happy Friday everyone! I am completely beat and really need this week to be over soon! (I have tons of things to do this weekend too, but well…)

Back to School Anyone?

Today is Tuesday and it means Mari has a gorgeous kit for sale at the Digichick! It’s her Back 2 School collab with Mel Wilson:

I love this kit, it is seriously packed! I especially love all the papers.
And it worked great for recording the steps I achieved in my photography course too!

Happy Tuesday!

Rainy Monday

It’s a rainy Monday here (even though the sun was out when I got up, but quickly disappeared!) so I need to share some of my creations to get rid of the gloom. 🙂

First off, I scrapped another of those hard-to-scrap pictures, and once again I love the result! I used a gorgeous kit by Sahlin Studio that was just perfect for this:

I also used some Sahlin Studio goodies to create these book labels, just a little organizational tip featured in the September newsletter of ScrapMatters.

If you aren’t signed up to the SM newsletter yet, you can do sign up right here. There’s a great free kit every month, plus nice tips and articles, including a hybrid tutorial by yours truly. 🙂 Can’t miss it! 😉

Brittishdesigns.com

You may have noticed that Britt of Britt-ish Designs doesn’t sell at ScrapMatters anymore: she has opened her own store at brittishdesigns.com! She is one of my 3 fave designers and I miss her, but I have still been scrapping with some of her goodies lately. This is the delicious and gorgeous cake DH baked for my birthday:

Yum! And here’s a picture I took last Saturday on a photowalk – I took some shots I’m really happy about and I love how this page turned out.

I usually have a very hard time scrapping great pictures but this time I’m very happy with the result. 🙂

Soar

I made another page for my art journal last weekend using some Polka Dot Plum goodies. 🙂

Very simple but pretty, isn’t it? 🙂

Jenn Barrette

I am so sad that Jenn Barrette is retiring from ScrapMatters. She is one of my favorite designers! She’s having a sale in her shop for the rest of the month.

Her latest kit is just beautiful:

I’m In Love!

As I promised yesterday, I’m back to show you the amazing project I did thanks to my new cutting machine. 🙂

When I first saw this beautiful collab by Krista Sahlin and Jenn Barrette, I knew I wanted to do something hybrid-y with it. Especially with that gorgeous ferris wheel.

So since I’m an overachiever and a bit reckless at times, my 2nd project with my new Silhouette SD was this:

Vintage Carnival kit and wordart by Sahlin Studio and Jenn Barrette

The result is just amazing! All pieces used above were cut individually. The wood paper is about 3.75×4.3 in size so I think you can appreciate the detail this machine was able to cut!
I’m looking forward to the long weekend so I can play more with my machine!

So Pretty!

I received some bad news yesterday: my grandma fell and broke her nose. 🙁 I am so upset and worried and being thousands of miles away doesn’t help. 🙁 I guess we just have to be thankful she didn’t break a leg or something else, but still…. 🙁 So to pick myself up I want to show you some pretties I made Monday night with my new Silhouette SD digital cutter. This was the first day I had it, and I’m in love!!

Since I wanted to start getting some Christmas cards done, I used this adorable kit by Mari:

(oh, and have you heard?! Everything in Mari’s store is 35% off through Sept. 5!!)

I made this mini cards/tags:

I know I am biased 🙂 but I think they are the cutest ever!!! 😉

I printed them out with no bleed, and the Silhouette cut them perfectly. Yay!! I have another more impressive project to share, but I’ll leave that for tomorrow. 🙂
