Softest Touch

Bree has a new kit in the store and I have to say it is GORGEOUS!! If you’re a regular visitor of this blog and have seen my work, you know I almost always scrap in bold, bright colors. But this kit really inspired me. It’s superbly sweet and romantic!
I present you, Softest Touch:

and this morning during breakfast 🙂 I made this page with it:

What a nice way to start the day, playing with such a gorgeous kit!
Check out that alpha because it’s fabulous!! It’s beautiful and super complete (upper, lower, numbers and lots of symbols that usually aren’t there- like the # that I always use for my monthiversary pages 😉 )!

She’s back!!!!!!!

Yessssssssssss!!! Bree is back to designing!!!!! She’s taken a break over the past few months because she opened up a very nice store, Digiridoo Scraps, which has also a great forum, with friendly people, fun challenges and great tutorials! It’s really a nice, drama free place and I recommend you check it out!
Now that the new place is up and running, she’s back into designing and has 2 gorgeous new products!

First off, Basic Instincts, a kit that’s packed with all those basic elements you always need when making a page – you’ll be using this kit over and over again! Plus, the neutral colors work great for any theme – and they’re great for recoloring too.

There’s also a super fun glitter pack, Glitterazzi vol. 1, which comes with great recoloring instructions!

I played with both and made this pretty little page, I really love how it came together!

Welcome back, Bree!! 😉

Sunset Pictures

It took me a few tries, but I think I finally mastered sunset pictures.

Saturday evening we had a fabulous sunset here and I took some pictures. I wasn’t planning to scrap them because I always find it hard to scrap a gorgeous landscape picture, but I tried it out and I found some papers that really matched and enhanced the pictures. I’m very pleased with the result!

Monthiversary #21

Thursday DH and I had our little adventure in the city: we took the bus to go to a fancy restaurant, had a lovely dinner with wine pairing, and got a cab to get back home (no drink&drive for us!).

It was a lovely, lovely evening. We took some pictures at the restaurant but since I brought my big camera I didn’t trust to have a picture of us taken (the light was really low – candlelight! – and I was pretty sure nothing good would turn out if we had the picture taken by someone who doesn’t know the camera). So, once we got home and put on our PJs ready to go to bed, we took a few timed shots on the sofa. Here’s one of the cutest.

I used Bree’s latest kit for this, Tropical Daiquiri. That kit is so sweet, it inspires me a lot of romanticism!!

Just as promised…

I did a LO with yesterday’s picture from my Project 365.

Bree’s new kit Tropical Daiquiri is just perfect for a sweet LO!

I used Bree’s new kit Tropical Daiquiri which will be soon in store at Snapandscrap. I’ll post a preview and link as soon as it’s in the shop!
As you can see, it’s full of soft colors and glitter and it’s so sweet!!
I love how the paper I picked for this week matches the photo of DH and I and I plan to do a LO just with that picture, using this kit. 🙂

I lifted this LO by Sya (for the scraplift challenge at SM, of course!) and used Bree’s kit All About A Girl.
This is only the 2nd LO I do about our little friends (see the 1st one here), but as I promised, there will be more. 🙂
