Real Life

There is a new collection in the store at Digital Design Essentials and it is so good!
Have you had a good weekend? My husband is felling much better and was even in the mood to take a couple pictures with me today.. can’t ask for much more! 😉 I had to scrap it right away. 🙂

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Happy Friday, and Happy Valentine’s Day! It’s also Froggy Friday – which means new releases 20% off at The Lilypad, and today there’s a special free with purchase offer and a sale on Valentine products!

I played with this fun new kit by Kaye Winiecki:

It was just perfect to scrap one of our favorite burger joints!

Are you celebrating Valentine’s Day? Our plans of having a lovely dinner at home have been put on hold because DH caught a stomach bug.. 🙁 At least there’s the Olympics for me to watch and cheer me up a bit. 🙂

Getaway

I am so excited to share this page I made for the ScrapOlympics event over at write.click.scrapbook. I love how it turned out!!

I used a Studio Calico kit from Feb. 2013 that I picked up in clearance back in May and hadn’t used. Here are some details:

I love this color scheme, and it was so easy to put together the page! Have a lovely day, and check out the inspiration at write.click.scrapbook. 🙂

February BYOC

I know I say this every month.. but how can it be February already?? And this is a short month too, so March will be here before we know it. The one good thing of it being February already is that the new BYOC is in the store at The Lilypad!

I had so much fun playing with this one. For some reason, the February BYOCs are always my favorites. 🙂

February Idea Notebook

Do you know when a page just gets together in no time at all?? That’s what happened to me tonight using the gorgeous new February Idea Notebook by Digital Design Essentials (and free with purchase cards).

These gorgeous designs make it so easy to put a page together! Here’s the first page I made with this collection.. and there will be more because there are so many gorgeous products I haven’t touched yet!

I’m so happy with how it turned out! 🙂 Best way to end a manic Monday for sure!

February

I’m really excited to share the page I made for the write.click.scrapbook February gallery. The theme is Technology, and while there are so many ways in which technology has impacted our lives, I chose to scrap about one that was especially significant last month for me. I love how this page turned out!

I bought multiple sheets of that background paper by Studio Calico and had been hoarding it, and it was just perfect for this page! I wish I had a whole world map actually, since not all the places I needed to pinpoint were on this map, but I made do.

Here are some details.

Have a great rest of the weekend!
