I was out of town for the first half of the week, and after coming home last night, I went a tad crazy using the newest BYOC collection from The Lilypad. I had so much fun with it, and ended up making 7 layouts in one sitting! Here they are.
It was too hot to go watch fireworks on the 4th of July, but at least we had our outfits right. 🙂
Last week I took part in a work event that I’d been working like crazy for for the past 6 months. It didn’t go as expected… but I’m trying to focus on the good things. One of them, was my outfit + makeup.
I snapped this photo from the back seat of an Uber car, and I love this shot of the blurry taxi with the Empire State Building in the back. 100% New York City.
I love every single thing Rebecca McMeen designs. I mean, look at these sketches and florals! I just had to add a couple to dress up this page, and it looks like something out of a magazine!
It’s been a stressful time at work, but I’m so glad to have this guy by my side through it all.
It’s been so hot, that plunging in the pool was the only thing we could do. It was amazing!
And that is my 7th page. Such a great collection this month!
Unfortunately tonight I learned some incredibly sad news about one of my favorite designers at The Lilypad: Dawn Inskip. She will be so missed in our scrapbooking community! Such a gentle and creative soul.
Today and tomorrow are big days for me at work – been getting ready for them for the past 6 months! So please cross your fingers for me!
In the meantime, I leave you with a page I put together using a few of the products that are on sale for 50% off today at The Lilypad:
50% off on June 27!
Yes – I got a make up lesson! (all for the event this week too) I enjoyed it a lot, and while I won’t be using make up every day, I certainly will for the special occasions.
Hello and happy Wednesday! We recently set up a small herb+vegetable garden, and the products that are on sale 50% off today at The Lilypad were perfect to document it!
Now wouldn’t it be great if the squirrel and the birds let our little plants grow in peace? 🙂
Hello and happy June! This month’s BYOC collection from The Lilypad has some earthy colors and pretty floral designs that are perfect to document some outdoor summer fun!
Here’s what I made with it.
I loved the template with the mountain scene!
Wishing you a wonderful month of June!

I love these pops of color with the black ink. Have a great rest of the week!
I love using pocket pages to document big events. I used the latest Memory Pockets Monthly collection from The Lilypad to document my Mom’s visit.
Here’s a look at each page individually.
It was still hard to narrow down all the photos we took to just these, but they are a lovely recap!
Hello and happy May! I love the new Mixed Media Monthly collection at The Lilypad – here’s what I made with it.
So happy to have my mom visit for Mother’s Day (and beyond)!
M3 May ’18 from The Lilypad
Have a lovely weekend!!
Hello, and happy May! The May BYOC is in the shop at The Lilypad, and the celebrations for National Scrapbooking Day (which is Saturday, May 5th) are well under way, with fun games, a storewide sale, and a free with purchase kit!
Here’s what I made with the BYOC:
I hope to see you in the forums over the weekend to join in on the fun!
It’s time for the newest Mixed Media Monthly collection from The Lilypad – and it’s a really good one! I made 4 pages all in one sitting, because there were just so many good papers in the kit that I wanted to use!
The first page had to be about the crazy weather we are having this year.
Next, I made a motivational page inspired by the background paper with the words “time to begin again”.
What I love with the M3 collection is that you can add as little or as much as you want, and you can’t go wrong! Here I added very little – one piece of word art, a photo, and my journaling. That background paper is just so pretty!
And to finish, one more page about this crazy, crazy weather.
Have a lovely weekend!
