No, I’m not moving, but One Little Bird Design has indeed moved her store to The Lilypad! Isn’t that exciting?! And to celebrate, she has a gorgeous new moving kit in the store today:
I used it to scrap a favorite photo from this summer.
Finally, the weekend is here, and not a minute too soon! I have a business dinner tonight though. I’m exhausted!
I had so much fun making a page with the new releases at The Lilypad!
This kit is bright and versatile – just what I like! I also loved using these cards by Emily Merritt – I love the design of these so much!
Finally, I know I will be using this chevron pack by Kaye Winiecki over and over!
And here’s my page! The kit inspired me to do an all about me page, so I went with it, and I’m glad I got these thoughts on paper!
How can it be September already?? Well, the September BYOC is so pretty that it almost makes me glad that a new month is here. š I made the most of Labor Day and scrapped a couple of pages. Yay!
The theme of this BYOC is back to school, but I found it versatile enough to use it for a variety of topics.

I really enjoyed my day off for Labor Day, and scrapped three pages! Here’s one of them. I made it for the September scraplift challenge at The Lilypad, and I kinda love how it turned out!!
I’ll keep this short and sweet, because this has NOT been a good day. I went to the office this morning, and my laptop died. I wasted my day doing a backup and going to the Apple store, and I am now hoping they can fix it, and fast. Not a good start of the week at all! The only good news is that we only have 3 more days to go until the weekend, and only 2 until the September BYOC! š
I am a huge fan of Valorie Wibbens, so as soon as I saw the kit she was releasing this week at The Lilypad, I knew I wanted to use it. š
Isn’t it just lovely? I started using the heart paper as a background (I love that paper!!), but then I happened to try this bold flower one instead, and you know me… I cannot resist a bold background! š Anyway, I love how this page turned out. š

I have a few pages and cards to share. First off, the August BYOC is in the shop at The Lilypad! I love the color scheme for this month, and here’s what I made with it:
Next, I have a couple of cards to share from last week, both done using my Silhouette Electronic Cutting Tool
This next card was inspired by the trend of vellum pockets with confetti – as soon as I saw the gorgeous paper in Jenn Barrette’s kit, I knew I had to use it right away. š
To write the sentiment on this card, I used my favorite alpha stamp set: the Stepping Stone Alphabet – Clear Stamps by Studio Calico/Hero Arts, stamped with Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad, Worn Lipstick
Lastly, I will share my favorite recent page:
I love how it turned out! Like the page at the beginning of the post, this one uses cell phone camera photos. The camera on DH’s Apple iPhone 4S is really good!

Yay, I am so happy to share another gorgeous BYOC at The Lilypad! I know I say this every month… but I’m really in love with this month’s BYOC! š
I love these colors!! I started by making a page with a picture from the 4th of July. It was a super hot day, but we braved the heat and went to see the fireworks show (LO to come..). š
I also made a card:
I know I’ve mentioned it already, but I just love how having my own scrap desk now makes me create so much more! It takes no time at all to fire up my Silhouette, and I even added glitter to this card (on the flower). š I love glitter, but I often am too lazy to play with it.. But I really should get it out more often!
I know I’ll be definitely using this gorgeous BYOC for a few more pages, hopefully this weekend!
