I know I haven’t blogged in like forever, but I’ve been pretty busy with life lately!
My mom isn’t doing too well with her broken foot, but hopefully she’s on the mend. I made her a card last week, and I’ll try to make her another soon!

This week has been crazy so far, but somehow I’ve managed to squeeze in some scrapping time nonetheless.

I now have to force myself not to scrap anymore until I get the pages for my P365 photobook ready for print: I have an offer for a 60 page book that expires this weekend and I MUST get the pages saved and uploaded! It’s such a boring job and I’ve been putting it off and scrapping new pages instead, because of all the gorgeous new kits at ScrapMatters, but it’s now time to get this done!

10 Years!

As you may know if you’re a regular reader of this blog, a little over a month ago DH and I celebrated out 10th dating anniversary. For the occasion, I worked on a little hybrid project and I can finally share it here, now that it’s posted as a tutorial on the ScrapMatters blog too! 😉

10 years is quite a long time, and I thought it would be neat to create a mini album with a page for each year we spent together. I tried to get a picture taken in summer, around our anniversary date, but I have to tell you, some years it was hard to find a picture of the two of us together at all! Luckily, this will never happen again, because since I started scrapbooking I’ve always made sure to take plenty of pictures of us. 😉

Anyway, here’s my little album: it’s tiny and it turned out very pretty! 😀


I kept the pages very simple: most of the space is taken up by our picture, plus I added a date stamp that bears the year and the anniversary number.

I played with both (obviously doing neither girlish nor boyish LOs – these kits are so versatile!), and here’s a page from our picnic on the lake, on Saturday, using the boy kit:

Back to School

I went back to school last week, meaning that my classes started, but I don’t really have any kids’ pictures to scrap with back to school kits. But when I saw Mari’s new collab with Mel Wilson, I knew immediately I wanted to play with it!

Ready for Fall

When I saw the Halloween merchandise in stores a couple of weeks ago, I was kind of shocked because it seemed way too early to think about that.. But when I saw Chelle’s new kit at ScrapMatters, I just couldn’t wait to start playing with it!! I can’t wait to take some Halloween pictures to scrap with it! 😉


It’s such an adorable kit, I feel I’m totally ready for fall! 😉

Time Flies

Today the first year students are facing the last day of the dreadful 3-day exam I faced last year: I feel like this year has flown by so fast!

Anyway, I have a couple projects from the weekend that I haven’t shown yet. First off, a little hybrid project that made my husband very happy.
He loves to taste wine so when I saw this little blue notebook for sale, I knew I had to pretty it up for him to write his tasting notes. 🙂 I made a label to cover the embossed writing “journal”:


I also made a 2-sided bookmark with the 100 point wine rating system. I’m so happy that he’s using it and loves it! 🙂


Of course, I had just the right kit for this project, a collab by Juno Designs and Julie Marie Designs, The Good Life:


The colors of this kit are gorgeous and went perfectly with the blue notebook. Plus, the grape and bottle elements were just what I needed to characterize the notebook!

I also have a page to share, done for the Everyday Magic challenge. We had to scrap about our favorite little place to eat (not the fancy place for special occasions), so I just had to go with Red Lobster! 🙂 DH and I go pretty often, and when my parents come to visit it’s a set date! 😉

I also have some Project 365 pages to share, but since I’m not caught up yet I guess I’ll show them all together when I do catch up. Hopefully, by the end of the week – although I do have a busy week scheduled, with little or no scrapping time..!
