Excited for June!

I made this card for my MIL’s birthday last week. Her birthday is next Monday and I hope the card gets there on time!

I’m so excited that June is here!! Be sure to stop by tomorrow: I have a ton of pages to show you, because I’m guesting at The LilyPad this month!! I’ve been wanting to be a Pollywog for years, and during iNSD I competed in and won the Kiss the Frog contest: apart from being so much fun, it got me this coveted spot! 😉 Plus I’ll have some other very pretty stuff to show tomorrow from my designers.

Done with Day One!

Bree’s new kit is in the store, so I can show you the latest pages I’ve been scrapping. This kit is so pretty!

Check out all the sample LOs in the store, they are all just gorgeous! And they really made me want to scrap with this kit. So, here goes!

Mom's Visit Day 1: Aperitif

Journaling:
We tried out the new furniture and torches right away, having an aperitif on the deck. It was lovely! We accomplished a lot today and now we deserve some relax!

Mom's Visit Day 1: BBQ

Journaling:
Tonight we had a BBQ, and everything was so delicious! DH baked some bread, and we had our first corn on the cob of the season, from Florida: it was the sweetest I’ve ever eaten! Then we had a piece of wagyu meat because we wanted my mom to try it. Yum!

Hooray! I have finished scrapping day one! 🙂 Off to scrap the rest of the trip now! 😉

Enjoying the Long Weekend

I have really enjoyed the long Memorial weekend. I haven’t accomplished much, but it always feels good to take some time off. I have scrapped some more pages about my mom’s visit. I made two with Bree’s latest kit, and I’m making some more with her soon-to-be-released kit, so look for those in a few days. 🙂

Mom's Visit Day 1: Shopping

Journaling:
After buying garden furniture at BB&B (finally!) and some shoes and clothes at Marshalls, we headed to the Christmas Tree Shop. We love that store and we ended up buying a lot of cheap items, and my mom found a few gifts to bring back home to her friends. I thought it was fun how long the receipt looked! 🙂 Then we went grocery shopping and headed back home to eat sushi.

So far I’ve been scrapping chronologically and making pages that coordinate in pairs so I can put then in an album (whenever that may be…).

Mom's Visit Day 1: Warm Weather Ahead

Journaling:
Go figure: the garden furniture set we bought was missing pieces and was just impossible to put together. So we went to exchange it, and luckily the second time around everything worked just fine. Mom and DH put the pieces together in no time. Finally, after three years, we will be able to enjoy our lovely deck this summer!

I’ve done 6 pages, and I’m only on day one out of seventeen!! 😉

Leavin’ On a Jet Plane

No, I’m not going anywhere (I wish!), but Jenn Barrette has teamed up with Laura Banasiak to create a fun, fun travel kit and it’s making me dream of travel to far lands and remember all the trips I’ve made:

I am so in love with the colors of this kit! The world map paper in it is worth the whole kit, IMHO!! The kit is 20% off, and there’s a free with purchase add-on included in the price if you grab it quick. Here’s what I made:

Oh the Places We Will Go card

I recolored the background paper from light blue to green to make the colors pop more. I will be using this kit some more, for sure! I love it! And I’m very happy that the long weekend has started so well: I made 2 cards between last night and this morning. 🙂 Hope to create lots more! 😉

New Photo Actions

Bree of Scrap’It designs has been working on some new photo actions, and they are pretty neat!

Here’s a quick example I ran.

Pretty neat, huh? 😉 And then there’s this new pack out today (it’s 25% for a week, so grab it quick!):

There’s a sharpening action and a save for web action, both super easy and quick! Here’s my example:

Photographer's Toolbox

I LOVE this picture! And I am also loving my new (now 4 weeks old) lens! 😉

Scrapping, Finally!

I am getting back into my normal routine, and scrapped a bit finally! Of course, I started with the new releases for iNSD (and later), and pictures of my mom’s visit. 😉

First off, a page with Mari Koegelenberg’s latest kit. I am SO in love with this kit!!

Then two pages with the gorgeous kit and alpha Sahlin Studio released on Friday:

These colors make me so happy! And check out the amazing alpha on my page: you can’t see it in the kit preview, but it is included in the kit and it is quickly becoming one of my favorite alphas ever!

This last page also uses one of go-to alphas, which is on sale at 50% today for Wibbit Wednesday at The LilyPad:

I hope to be back soon to show you more pages, I still have lots of catching up to do! 😉

Retirement sale!

I’m back, finally! My mom was visiting for 2 weeks, and immediately after she left I have been stuck one whole week working on a very time consuming project at work. But I am back!! I made a little hybrid project yesterday and scrapped a page: the first after over 3 weeks of hiatus! It feels good to be creating again!! Unfortunately, though, I have some sad news: Molly DeCrow is retiring from designing. This is the very last chance to grab a few of her creations:

I’ll be back soon to share some P52 Cards pictures and a page. 🙂

More iNSD Fun!

I’m late posting this, but yesterday some gorgeous new kits were released, and I really have to share! But let me start with something for today:

#1 Mom Card

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there!

Now, on to the goodies! Jenn Barrette has some fantastic new kits, all for sale 30% off in her shop.

I am SO in love with this kit!! I managed to do these 2 cards just hours before my mom arrived, but I can’t wait to scrap with this kit too!

I Love You Deer card

And look at these gorgeous collabs with Kristin Cronin-Barrow! One for books:

And the other for movies:

They will certainly come in handy to scrap about two of my passions! They also come as a bundle to save some $$$.

Changing gears, I have something else to show you, a quite extraordinary kit by Sahlin Studio and Ju Kneipp:

Boy, do I have some catching up to do!! All these kits are just sooo yummy!
