Monochromatic LO

I did a 2-pager today using a bunch of Sugarplum Paperie’s goodies.

I ended up with a monochromatic LO, even though that wasn’t my intention when I started. But when I saw how well the background papers went with the photos, especially with the left page, I couldn’t get myself to put in any splash of color, no matter how hard I tried. 🙂 I really love the result.

Newest Family Member

I did a LO to celebrate the arrival of the newest member of our family: Koalie!

I lifted this LO by Sya (for the scraplift challenge at SM, of course!) and used Bree’s kit All About A Girl.
This is only the 2nd LO I do about our little friends (see the 1st one here), but as I promised, there will be more. 🙂

Week 3

I didn’t use the new camera for today’s picture because I only brought my point and shoot (and certainly didn’t regret it – there was nothing fancy to capture and the weather was bleak, so I only took this one picture to remind us of the occasion).

Cold!

It’s been freezing the past few days, yesterday especially was really cold!

So it’s just fitting that I should use a kit by Polka Dot Plum called Brrrrrrrr! 😉

I’ve been a very bad blogger this week! But going back to work after the Christmas break was tough, and on top of it I received some very bad news from a friend and I’ve been out of sorts lately.

But hey, life goes on, and I have lots of pictures from Christmas to scrap. Here’s a few, taken on Christmas morning, the very first pictures taken with the new camera. 🙂
