I don’t normally do new year resolutions (I hate letting myself down!), but this year I was inspired to jot a few things down when I started creating with the January Memory Pockets Monthly: CHAPTER collection from The Lilypad.

There is something in this month’s Memory Pockets Monthly at The Lilypad that really spoke to me.. it may be my favorite collection yet!

This one is probably my favorite page of quite some time! I only used papers and some paint… I am a patterned paper lover through and through!

Oh happy day! I am doubly happy today. First, I had a major work deadline that got me busy for over a month, but starting tomorrow I get my life back. And second, there’s a bunch of fabulous new products in the store at The Lilypad today, including the January Memory Pockets Monthly kit!
I made three pages with it so far. I love the alpha that comes with the kit!! First off, I made a page to which I added these lovely brushes by Ali Edwards:

There are also some fabulous new products in the store, and here’s two I simply couldn’t resist.

The December Memory Pockets Monthly kit at The Lilypad is just what I needed to get in the mood for starting a new year.
In truth, I am *so* not ready for a new year to start.. but with some scrap therapy I was able to focus on the good things and stay positive. I’m actually pretty excited for what’s to come.

Oh my goodness… I don’t even know where to start!! But there’s one thing I know. The Lilypad sure knows how to throw a DSD party!! There’s fun games and challenges going on; a store-wide sale and free with purchase collab, and some amazing new releases. And then… wait for it… there’s a new monthly subscription called Memory Pockets Monthly. Seriously, I was blown away with all the gorgeous new designs!

In addition to the monthly collaboration, the designers also made coordinating add ons. The next page uses the add ons by Sahlin Studio.
I left the page simple to let the word art and that lovely leaf shine.
