Washi Tape Obsession

Washi tape is one of my latest obsessions. I got many of my favorites from Sakuralala (who by the way is having a 25% off sale through Monday!!), but recently I placed an order from Amazon and I am so giddy with what I got that I just had to share!

Some of these rolls came in a set of 3, but I linked them all here:

The main reason I placed this order was for the MT book washi and the MT skinny tapes, but while I was at it I decided to try these other tapes by Shinzi Katoh that are new to me.
I love using these tapes in my traveler’s notebooks, but I also use them on my scrapbook pages (I will be sharing some examples soon). I just had to have the one that looks like Little Red Riding Hood since it was my favorite fairytale as a child! 🙂

Studio Calico July Kits: Pool Party

Hello hello! As is now a recurring monthly tradition, I made a page using some of the new digital products that are in the store at Studio Calico. The July kits (Pool Party) go for sale at 3 PM EST today, but here you can see a peek at a few things.

For this 8.5″x11″ hybrid page, I used a digital background paper from the Pool Party papers, and overlaid a digital stamp. The embellishments are all from my stash, and I also used an old Studio Calico stamp to add a pineapple.

I added some splatters of gold mist too.

Summer Trips

I have been constantly on the go this month of June… but I really cannot complain! I was fortunate enough to be able to add a couple days to some work trips and turn them partly into a vacation. 🙂
And since it’s time for the weekly 50% sale on select products at The Lilypad, I started getting these trips scrapped too. I am also especially thrilled because I never have any beach photos usually, since we’re not really beach people, but this time we had some nice walks on the beach and I took some pictures! 🙂

I’m so excited about the latest class at Studio Calico: Design School by Catherine Davis. Catherine has always such a unique way to use product, and comes up with absolutely striking designs. I can’t wait to learn more about her creative process!

Hello there! I’ve been quiet lately because I’ve been quite busy, and traveling quite a bit. So far, it’s been a good summer and I hope it stays this way. But it’s time for the weekly 50% off sale at The Lilypad, so I had to at least scrap these 2 pages about my travels. 🙂

Studio Calico June 2016 Kits: Scout – Scrapbook Page

I also made an 8.5″x11″ scrapbook page using the Scout Documenter kit and add ons. I love how it turned out!

I used the Scout Documenter kit and add on (Mockingbird), as well as the bug cards, 4×6 paper pad, the extrovert stamp and the craft dies.

The only item I used that isn’t from the Scout release is the script die “I love you mom”.

I am in love with this pattern with the squares (my favorite this month!) and was going to hoard it, but then I decided it was worth using on this page about my mom. 🙂

There you have it – a scrapbook page made with Documenter products.

Studio Calico June 2016 Kits: Scout – Cards

I also received the card stamp and dies this month, and they were lots of fun to use!

For this card I used the Bug stamp set, the “You’re Sweet” die and the 4×6 paper pad.

I also made a matching envelope.

Here I used the Bug stamp set and added watercolor to the bugs.

On this card I used the Bug stamp set, and the “you’re sweet” and “fun” script dies.

I had lots of fun painting this card! It used the Bug and the Extrovert stamp sets.

I hope you enjoyed these cards! The Scout kits are fantastic this month!
