It most definitely feels like fall around here, so my weekly card for DH is an autumn card. 🙂 I used the gorgeous new collab by Jenn Barrette and Kristin Cronin-Barrow:

creashens has a new kit in her store, and I am totally in love with this palette!
I used it to scrap some of my favorite pictures of this summer – I love these colors!
It totally seems like summer is over today, so it’s nice to soak up some of the sunshine in these pictures! 🙂
Halloween in September?? Why not? 🙂 Especially when it’s a mini kit by the awesome Leora Sanford!!
And, it is 30% off right now! I had fun using this lovely background on my page!
Have a great weekend!
How can it be September already?? Well, the September BYOC is so pretty that it almost makes me glad that a new month is here. 😉 I made the most of Labor Day and scrapped a couple of pages. Yay!
The theme of this BYOC is back to school, but I found it versatile enough to use it for a variety of topics.
I am in love with this floral patterned paper:
I also made a very quick card for a friend.
And this brings us one day closer to the weekend! Yay!! I will be back soon to share more creations. 😉
I really enjoyed my day off for Labor Day, and scrapped three pages! Here’s one of them. I made it for the September scraplift challenge at The Lilypad, and I kinda love how it turned out!!
I’ll keep this short and sweet, because this has NOT been a good day. I went to the office this morning, and my laptop died. I wasted my day doing a backup and going to the Apple store, and I am now hoping they can fix it, and fast. Not a good start of the week at all! The only good news is that we only have 3 more days to go until the weekend, and only 2 until the September BYOC! 🙂
I’ve had this spread ready to share for a while now, finally I’m getting around to posting! This was the second week of my mom’s visit. Not nearly as busy as the previous week – I managed to fit everything in with just one insert (I used the Design H from the Photo Pocket Pages – Small Variety Pack 1). Yay me! 🙂
The color scheme this week came from Cosmo Cricket’s 2WENTY-THR3E collection. (Plus, I thought it would be really cool to use it for Week 23! LOL)
I used a few Cosmo Cricket tags (2WENTY-THR3E), and embellished them with some chipboard stickers, stickers from the Project Life Clementine kit, and the EK Success Image Tree typewriter alphabet stamped with the Tsukineko Small-Size VersaFine, Smoky Gray(I love these small ink pads!). Papers are mostly from the Cosmo Cricket 6×6 paper pad
I created background for two of the pockets by misting some Mr Huey custard and overdue mists on American Crafts white cardstock using a Studio Calico chevron mark.
I added in quite a few bits of memorabilia this week. 🙂 Here’s front and back of the insert:
And here are a few of my favorite details of this week!
I cut the frame with my Silhouette Electronic Cutting Tool. Fun! The date stamp is the usual K&Company Smash Stamp.
On the title card I also used the Stampendous Tiny Alphabet, which is my favorite little alpha stamp.
Here are the journaling cards I used for the insert – they are from the Project Life Clementine kit, and I embellished them with stamps. I used the EK Success Image Tree typewriter alphabet for “dinner” and the stars; “good times” is from a sold out Studio Calico set; the jar is from Dear Lizzy Neopolitan Stamps; the flowers are from Buttercup Clear Stamps (Lily Bee Designs); the fork+knife are from Let’s Eat by TPC Studio. The inks are Tsukineko Small-Size VersaFine (Smoky Gray) and Spiced Marmalade Tim Holtz Distress Ink. I also embossed the fork and knife with Mustard Zing and Tsukineko VersaMark clear ink. The little newspaper flower is from Summer Camp by Kate Hadfield and Sahlin Studio.
I’m almost done with week 24 (just need to add some journaling) so I hope to share it soon. 🙂
