A little update about me: I haven’t blogged this week because I didn’t scrap. The reason is that I’m working on a hybrid project and it’s eating up all my time! 🙂

But it should be done with soon, and I’ll get back to some scrapping. I can’t wait to show it to you when it’s ready! 😉

Monochromatic LO

I did a 2-pager today using a bunch of Sugarplum Paperie’s goodies.

I ended up with a monochromatic LO, even though that wasn’t my intention when I started. But when I saw how well the background papers went with the photos, especially with the left page, I couldn’t get myself to put in any splash of color, no matter how hard I tried. 🙂 I really love the result.

I lifted this LO by Sya (for the scraplift challenge at SM, of course!) and used Bree’s kit All About A Girl.

I didn’t use the new camera for today’s picture because I only brought my point and shoot (and certainly didn’t regret it – there was nothing fancy to capture and the weather was bleak, so I only took this one picture to remind us of the occasion).
