As we transition from Fall to Winter (we did get the first snowflakes last week after all), I find myself still not quite in the mood to scrap Christmas, even though I am warming up to the idea. The products on sale 50% off this week for SOSN at The Lilypad were the perfect mix. I started out with a fall page.

I have never done Week in the Life before, but last week I followed along with Ali Edwards and as I was taking pictures all week I thought about all the stories this photos could tell. But at the end of the week, I wasn’t quite sure what to do with those photos. But then when I saw the new templates by Paislee Press for The Lilypad, I knew it was the perfect way for me to get started scrapping my Week in the Life. I paired them with the lovely November BYOC.
The first spread documents the places I’ve been. Mostly autumn scenes.

My mom sent me this picture of my dad blowing out a candle on his birthday. I am so grateful for technology and for a tech savvy mom! 🙂
And I am SO happy to report that my wish is coming true and my parents will be here in a little over three weeks!!! Eeeeek!
Oh my goodness… I don’t even know where to start!! But there’s one thing I know. The Lilypad sure knows how to throw a DSD party!! Hello and happy Friday! I’ve been quiet around here lately.. just dealing with a couple emergencies at work. But I have two three pages to share made with the new Mixed Media Monthly collaboration and add ons at the Lilypad!
This was so much fun to play with! I especially found the background papers amazing.. All my pages were inspired by the backgrounds in the kit.
We did a couple of outings last weekend and I got some great shots.. this is one of them. Can’t wait to scrap the rest (pumpkin patch anyone??)! 🙂

I had very little time this week, yet I scrapped these four pages in one day.. so yeah I guess that I was indeed inspired by these lovely products! 😉

This one is probably my favorite page of this bunch. I just love these warm colors.
This adorable bear was perfect for me to tell this story! I used one of the elements to create a distressed mask to blend my photo in the background.
And now.. the weekend may commence (OK.. one more day)! And I definitely need it after a rocky work week this week *sigh*.

The end of summer / early fall is such a lovely time of the year. I am savoring it.
Today I want to share the page I made for the October write.click.scrapbook gallery. The theme was “scraps”, so I used up some products I had in my stash, namely the September BYOC from The Lilypad. The October BYOC is being released this Friday, so I was happy to get another page done before that.
