Erica Zane has a new kit out and it’s goooorgeous!

Queen of Scrap 2010

**********************************************************

I don’t know if you’ve noticed (so many games and contests going on for iNSD!) but the Queen of Scrap competition has started at ScrapMatters! It’s seriously the craziest and funniest contest ever. And the best way to get many LOs done during the month of May.

I loved so much playing last year and earning a Princess crown, that even though I cannot run for the title since I’m on the CT, I still want to play along and post my pages with the contestants.
So if you haven’t signed up yet, check out the QOS section in the forum and come join us! ๐Ÿ˜‰

And since the 40% sale is still on today and tomorrow, it’s the perfect time to stock up on some great kits to use this month. ๐Ÿ˜‰

OK, now I have 2 more pages to show you done using Jennifer Barrette’s gorgeous iNSD grab bag (only available until tomorrow, then all the items will be unpacked and sold separately!).

OK, that’s all I have to show for now! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Have a nice day!

Grab the Grab Bags!!!

ETA: Sale at ScrapMatters 40% extended until Thursday May 6!!

I hope everyone enjoyed this great iNSD weekend! I sure have, even though I wasn’t feeling 100% well so I didn’t get as much done as I wanted to. But still, I really enjoyed all the fun games, crazy sales and chats going on!
And there’s more good news:

This is seriously THE BEST DEAL all over digi-land!

Also, the grab bags are for sale until Thursday, so if you haven’t done so yet, I highly recommend you stock up on them fast, because they’re all packed with fabulous products and they’re such an amazing deal!
I played with 3 more grab bags this weekend, so I’m off to show you what I did.
First off, Jenn Barrette’s grab bag. I only used one kit for now, but more pages are coming for sure because this bag is packed with goodies! Check out the detailed previews in the store!

Then I also started playing with Sahlin Studio’s grab bag and once again I haven’t used all that’s in here!

Finally, Erica Zane + Denise Beatty Original’s grab bag is just stunning!! Check out the reveal in the previews in the store, but let me tell you: it has THREE (fabulous) alphas and for an alpha junkie like me this means total success! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I made 3 pages so far:

iNSD Blog Train!

Happy iNSD everyone and welcome to the next stop in the ScrapMatters blog train! I hope you enjoy all the festivities we planned at ScrapMatters – make sure to check out the special iNSD section in the forum to make sure you don’t miss out on all the fun!

The iNSD mega-collab at SM this weekend is called Moments that Matter and the whole theme of our celebration is all about those moments in our lives that really matter. This kit is free if you spend $20 in the store and if you spend $30 you also get an amazing set of hybrid printables!

Before sharing my freebie, I wanted to share a little story with you. I don’t know about you, but I have a hard time fitting in my scrapbooking hobby with my busy life; but scrapping my memories is so important to me that I’ll never give it up. Still, my husband complains ofter of all my computer time… ๐Ÿ˜‰ Anyway, I made a hybrid mini album to celebrate our 10th dating anniversary last summer as a gift to my husband:

He liked it very much. But I didn’t realize how much he really liked it until a few months later, when we were talking about gifts and I asked him what was the best gift he got from me in all the time we’ve been together. And of all the gifts I gave him through the years (and there were expensive ones and ones he really wished for like his piano!) but he said his favorite of all was the 10 years mini album. So make sure you scrap the big and little moments of your life. It really matters!

And here’s the frame cluster I created for you with the Moments that Matter collab:

I hope you like it! ๐Ÿ™‚ Make sure to leave me a comment if you download! Thanks for your interest, this freebie has now expired!

Now it’s time to keep riding the blog train! You should have arrived here from Tanya‘s blog and your next stop is Jenny‘s blog. If you’re lost, check out the ScrapMatters blog. Have a great iNSD!

It’s Grab Bag Time!

Wohooooooooo! The celebrations for iNSD have begun and the store at ScrapMatters is filled with amazing grab bags and new releases!
And there’s a gorgeous free with purchase kit (it’s yours if you spend at least $20) and a hybrid free with purchase (if you spend $30) and let me tell you, it’s really worth it! The kit is stunning and the hybrid printables are so creative!

But let me tell you a bit more about the grab bags. The deals are amazing and the bags are packed full with new products. You don’t want to miss them! Check out the store previews – some grab bags are fully revealed there, others are a surprise – but they’re all worth it! They are for sale until May 6, when they will be unpacked and the items will be sold separately in the store – so make sure you grab them now while they’re such a good deal!
This week is a crazy one for me (end of the semester) so I only had time to scrap with one grab bag – but I’ll be sure to use more during this iNSD weekend! I started with Plum Dumpling Designs’ bag.
Check out the store preview for the detailed images – the color scheme of this bag is so yummy!!!

Hybrid Cuteness

One of the April guests at ScrapMatters, Armina Designs, has this adorable pack in the store:

As soon as I saw it, it screamed “hybrid” to me! ๐Ÿ˜‰
So I managed to squeeze in a couple of projects yesterday – I’m so glad I did, because they turned out super cute.
First, a set of bookmarks – I plan to give these to my parents. Lion for Mom and the zebra for Dad (his favorite team’s symbol is the zebra).

They’re double sided. Yep, I laminated them – my experience so far with bookmarks tells me that this is the best way to go. Mod Podge also works, but it stays sticky for a few weeks – not good for books that have shiny pages.
Then I also made a card (which was the first idea I had when I saw the product in the store):

Most of my projects look better in real life than in picture, but this one especially! ๐Ÿ™ I used crackle accents for the animals and mounted them on foam dots – they look really so cool, but you miss the dimension in the picture. Ah well…
I also completed the hybrid project for the May newsletter and I can’t wait to show that off – won’t be for a couple of weeks at least though. I haven’t taken pictures yet and I’m dreading it because I know it’ll be a pain to photograph. When DH saw it finished, he said he didn’t expect it to be so cute: and this is the highest compliment, for me! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Sign up for the ScrapMatters newsletter if you haven’t already. ๐Ÿ™‚

Spring Basket and some LOs

I know (and I hate it): I haven’t blogged in quite some time! I do have a few things to show, though. Most are pretty old, too! This project was featured in the March newsletter at ScrapMatters and I’d better post it before spring is over! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Putting this together was quite a pain, but isn’t it adorable? ๐Ÿ˜‰
Then I have some random LOs to share. First off, these two (I’m slowly building my DC album) that I really love:

And then there’s this one (finished scrapping Easter pics from last year):

I hope to blog again soon with a few other things to share. ๐Ÿ˜‰
