It is so easy to whip up a hybrid card when you have such pretty papers. Just add a sentiment for the focal point, and you’re all set.
The November challenges are up at The Lilypad, and I made a page for the template challenge using one of the lovely new kits released this weekend.
My mom sent me this picture of my dad blowing out a candle on his birthday. I am so grateful for technology and for a tech savvy mom! 🙂
And I am SO happy to report that my wish is coming true and my parents will be here in a little over three weeks!!! Eeeeek!
Oh my goodness… I don’t even know where to start!! But there’s one thing I know. The Lilypad sure knows how to throw a DSD party!! Hello hello! As we are gearing up for DSD (Digital Scrapbooking Day) that is this Saturday, I will have lots of pages to share with the new releases over the next couple of days. To start the party, there’s this new collab by Mari Koegelenberg and Sugarplum Paperie.
It was perfect to scrap my favorite of the photos from the pumpkin patch.. and one of my favorite photos ever!!
I wanted to keep the photo big, so I just created a design that showcases the lovely papers in the kit. While the kit is Halloween-themed, as you can see it works very well for fall photos as well.

This is a steal at only $4.99! Here’s what I made.
Sweater weather indeed! The picture is from last weekend, when it was chilly but sunny – my favorite kind of weather!
I have a hybrid/paper page to share today, made with a bunch of digital products by Ali Edwards. I love how by using the digital elements I can start my design in Photoshop, so all of the guesswork is taken out of the assembly part.
I created the background using a combination of digital stamps, and printed it out on American Crafts 8.5″x11″ card stock. Then I added my photos, a couple pieces of paper cut to fit one of the diamonds in the background, and some embellishments.
I couldn’t resist painting that word bubble to make it look like a pumpkin! 🙂 I love how this page turned out.
Mari Koegelenberg has a new collab in the store.. and I love the organic feel of it!
