Wordart

I did a page for a challenge at ScrapMatters and it made me wish once again that I had Photoshop CS… I believe that if I had a program that allowed me to create text paths I would actually start loving wordart.. I sure love the one I did for this page.

I gladly used the text path that was provided for the challenge, but I still wished I could tweak the path a little bit..

Easter Weekend

Gosh, I am so tired!! I wish we had an extra day off for Easter… :-/

We had a great weekend, but I’m really tired. I baked Easter cupcakes (LOs to come) and did very few scrapping..
Friday we had a new addition to our family 🙂

I’ve been catching up on Project 365 lately so now I have weeks 1-10, 14-15 done. Hopefully I can get weeks 11-13 done soon. I joined the community at Weeds and Wildflowers because there’s a great incentive program going on there: that’s why I’ve managed to do weeks 14 & 15 on time! 🙂
I will post the LOs here once I get the missing weeks done!

New Goodies!

Yesterday night I started playing with the goodies I picked up at Weeds & Wildflowers on Sunday. I took advantage at the 2nd birthday sale they had last week and got a lot of absolutely gorgeous stuff by Gina Marie Huff, including a huge alpha collection. 🙂 I really love how this page turned out!

I also did a matching page for the LO I posted in the previous post.

Ah, I really love my camera! 🙂

Busy (and Beautiful!) Weekend!

This weekend DH and I have been pretty busy: we went to the opera last night (ah, we really must go more often!) and today we went to a museum. Lots of fun, but tiring too, and the weekend is over way too fast!

I only scrapped one page yesterday but I took many pretty pictures today. 🙂

Even though I didn’t scrap much, this weekend was memorable: I got RAKed by Kelley Mickus, April Dawn (I used her kit for this LO) and Weeds and Wildflowers!! 😀

For a Change: Red!

I was RAKed by Dani Alencar with her latest kit, Call Her Beauty, and last night I started playing with it!

So finally, after a series of pink LOs, here’s some red! 😀

Ugh, it’s Friday and it’s raining here today.. It’s time to go, but I really with I could stay home!!

Just One LO Tonight!

I slowed down a bit and only got one LO done tonight. 🙂

Actually, I got this one done in half an hour and then I didn’t really feel like scrapping anymore.. But I do love how this page turned out! 😉

On a Roll!

These past few days I’ve been on a roll and got lots of LOs done! And I’m very happy with them all! 🙂

Last night I did 2 more LOs with Lipstick Kisses at Noon, by Polka Dot Plum. I actually started scrapping these 2 pages the night before, when I did the 2 LOs featured in the previous post, but I didn’t love what I scrapped so I didn’t publish them. I didn’t like them, especially compared to the 2 pages I did with the same kit and that I absolutely loved. So last night I went and redid them completely. I’m much happier with the end result now! 😀

I’m still very much in love with this kit! 🙂 And after scrapping 4 pages with it, I’m not done with it – there’s more goodies I haven’t used yet!

Then since I was on a roll a scrapped a gorgeous picture I took on Saturday, and used Polka Dot Plum’s Her First Kiss:

Whew, that’s it for now, and hopefully my mojo will come up with something pretty tonight too! 😉

In Love With a Kit

I picked up an older kit by Polka Dot Plum (taking advantage of the super sale going on at ScrapOrchard and Sunshine Studio Scraps on all of their stuff – and ending tomorrow!), Lipstick Kisses at Noon, and I am totally, completely IN LOVE with it!!!!!

I might even say it’s my favorite kit ever by Amy and Laren, if I didn’t already love many of their other kits.. But still, this one is really special!
Let me show you what I scrapped with it. There’s this..

Me Mini Accordion Album

I’m loving hanging out at TheDigiChick lately and I took part in a workshop there. Throughout the month of March, we put together a mini album, and this weekend I actually printed it out and assembled it. It turned out really cute!!!! (And in case you were wondering, yes, I do have a thing with pink right now..)

I used exclusively products by Sugarplum Paperie for doing this.
The only drawback of this project is that I never used acrylic colors before and they don’t quite work as I expected.. So painting the tin box was more troublesome than I had anticipated.. Anyway, everything turned out well in the end! 🙂
(Yes, I did buy the mints just to use the tin box… 😉 )

Cupcake Fun

I took a last picture of DH last week while I was preparing cupcakes and coloring fondant, and as I shot it I was already thinking about what color of paper to use to scrap it! 😉
