Blogging at Last!

This has been a super busy week for me and I’ve spent all my free time in the evenings scrapping because I’m giving a serious shot at the Queen of Scrap competition at ScrapMatters, so I haven’t had a chance to show off here what I’ve been doing.
For the past 3 days I’ve been doing 3 pages per night, and here they are. πŸ˜‰

Whew, finally caught up! πŸ™‚
I’m very happy with myself: I have done a lot of pages this week so far, and I love them all!
I haven’t been getting nearly enough sleep, though.. πŸ˜›

Overall, not a bad weekend..

I didn’t scrap very much this weekend, but still not too bad..

I finished the pages from our trip to the park:

Not a bad weekend at all! πŸ™‚

And a Few More Pages..

I haven’t scrapped too much today, but I did get a few pages done.

The first matches one of my favorite pages ever (see it here).

Then there’s a 2 pager to go with 3 pages I did about the cutest little bunny ever (see this and this post).

I seriously think I have a problem. I’m really crazy about bunnies! I was scrapping these adorable pictures and I went in the kitchen to get dinner started, I looked out of the window and saw 3 bunnies.. Awwww. Needless to say, I spent at least half an hour snapping away pictures and having fun watching them. Bunnies are seriously too cute!! I cannot resist them!

Time to Catch Up

Here’s the little project I’ve been working on for the past couple of days: I scrapped all the pictures from a weekend DH and I spent in Verona a little over 2 years ago.

I used the same kit for all the pages and I loved it!! As you can see I matched the pages in pairs, except the first and last one.
I really love all these pages and I think I finally found the right way to scrap pictures that come together in a series!

No Pictures (Yet)..

I was planning to blog this morning showing the 3 LOs I did last night with the gorgeous kit I picked up yesterday, but I’ve been busy and my plan got thwarted..

So tonight I ended up scrapping 4 more matching pages, and I’ve decided to wait until tomorrow before I post them here because hopefully I’ll finish a few more LOs that go with these and I can show them all together.
I’m scrapping pictures of a trip DH and I did a little over 2 years ago and I’m loving it! I thought about those pictures when I got my hybrid frame ready last week (the picture in the frame is from that trip) and when I picked up the kit yesterday and was thinking about what cute pictures of DH and me I hadn’t scrapped yet, those were the first that came to mind.
Anyway, I’m loving these LOs and I can’t wait to show them all! πŸ™‚

A Nice Day

I love to start the day with some scrapping: it sets me in a happy mood. πŸ™‚
And this morning I simply couldn’t resist to start scrapping a page (and almost finish it!) with a gorgeous kit by Sugarplum Paperie & Tracie Stroud I picked up at The DigiChick (it’s 20% off today). There’s so many new gorgeous products at TDC! I’m going to pick up at least one more! πŸ˜‰

Anyway, here’s 3 pages I did last night.
The picture page for the January summary (this took me forever, but I like how it turned out :))

I thought I was done with pictures of lilacs from that occasion, but I have a couple more! We’ll see whether I scrap them or not. Coming next: magnolias (and are those beautiful!!). πŸ˜‰

The Hybrid Chick

If you are even minimally interested in hybrid, you should definitely bookmark this great blog: The Hybrid Chick.
It’s full of tutorials and great, great inspiration by the talented ladies at TDC, and they recently started having some great giveaways too.

There’s one going on right now that is perfect even for those who are new to hybrid, check it out here!

Good News

I got the final grades for this semester and I’m very happy with how I did all this year! πŸ˜€

And today my mom’s visit is less than a month away! πŸ˜€
I did this page for a challenge at TDC and I realized I have few pictures of me and my mom together: will have to take more next month! πŸ˜‰
This picture was taken when she came to visit in June of last year. It was great, but the weather was really too hot.. (and it really was the only hot week we had.. pity!) I’m hoping we get luckier this year!

I got a couple of comments in the gallery saying how much my mom & me look alike. I didn’t really think that was the case, but I’m very pleased to hear it! Yes, you can probably tell we’re related πŸ™‚ but we’re not all that alike.. Or are we? πŸ™‚

Then I did the journaling page for my January summary, I’ll get the picture page done tonight.

I gotta say I like Wednesdays: it’s donut day and once Wednesday’s over the week just rolls away!

All Caught Up!

Since I started Project 365 this year, I’ve never had a problem taking one picture each day, but in March (Week 11) I started slacking and not working on my weekly 2-pagers. Then, 3 weeks later I luckily found out about the incentive program at Weeds & Wildflowers so since Week 14 I’ve always worked on Sunday to complete the weekly LO and was always caught up, except for that 3-week gap in March.
This weekend, thanks to the Queen of Scrap push, I finally got those LOs done too, so I can finally show you my all missing weeks up to now. πŸ™‚

It’s great to be all caught up, and I believe I’ll never fall behind again, because I work on placing the pictures and journaling during the week, and finish up the LOs on Sundays. πŸ˜€ It works great for me! πŸ˜‰
