Blue Horizon

It has been several months since Bree came out with a new kit, but she finally did, and it’s soooo pretty!

All the blue was perfect to scrap this picture of DH from last Friday. πŸ˜‰

This page came together in no time, but then it took me forever to decide where to place the journaling!! I tried it under the picture, to the side.. I ended up putting it in the opposite corner. I’m sure the LO would have looked much prettier without journaling, but I had quite the story to tell! πŸ˜‰
And then I made another page, because I just loved the tree element and the branch, and had to use them!

And this kit is 20% off until April 3, so make sure you grab it quick! πŸ˜‰

P365 – Trying to Keep up!

I’m a bit behind on my P365 pages (no big news here ;)) but I realized I’m behind with blogging them too, so let me show you what I have so far! Weeks 3-6:

I really love this last page especially! I used one of the kits Tangie Baxter created during her March guest spot at ScrapMatters:

I also used it for this page about a painting I saw in Washington, DC.

I’m afraid that’s all for my P365 for now.. I have quite a few weeks to scrap, but I’ll catch up as usual. πŸ˜‰ The real problem is how to scrap all the pictures from Washington – that will take me forever!

Signs of Spring

Although we’ve had a few rainy – and chilly (just above freezing!) – days this week, between last week and this one, we’ve had quite a few sunny, lovely days that were really worth putting up with the rain and the cold. Spring is in the air!
And Mari Koegelenberg teamed up with Jan Hosford to create a fabulous springy kit:

Here’s what I scrapped with it:

It’s so nice to see the animals busying themselves around the garden. πŸ˜‰
This kit is 20% off today and Friday, so get it quick!

Bunny Season!

If you have been reading this blog for a while, you already know I absolutely adore bunnies.
When I came home tonight (and I guess I have to be grateful for the hour change, because there was still plenty of light!), DH told me there was a bunny in our garden!!! πŸ˜€
I had been thinking about bunnies lately, wondering when I would see the first one of the year, but I wasn’t expecting it to be so soon!! I am so happy! Bunnies really give me warm fuzzies. πŸ˜‰
So, it was just perfect to use Mari’s kit and alpha (see previous post) to scrap the shots I took of this adorable bunny.

He was pretty small, even though you can’t really tell from the pictures. Bunnies really are adorable, and it’s so funny that the tiny ones just look like big bunnies, only.. small! πŸ˜‰
Ooook, I think all my blabber about bunnies is getting a bit embarassing.. πŸ˜‰ Boy do I love them! πŸ˜‰

New Products from Mari!

Well, it looks like I have disappeared for a while, huh? πŸ˜‰ I was in Washington last week, for 5 days, and then when I came back this week was just crazy – I’ve had business dinners 3 days in a row! I enjoyed it, but DH.. not so much.. I hope it’s over now! πŸ˜‰
Unfortunately, this also means I’ve had no scrapping time, and this is a bummer, because Mari Koegelenberg has come out with some adorable products, and my hands are itching to scrap!! Hopefully, tonight..! πŸ˜‰
First off, look at this sweet kit (was in the Digi Files at the Daily Digi last month):

There’s also a set of lovely printables (check out the preview in the store- these are so cute!!):

And then there’s 2 great alphas (and I’m such a sucker for alphas, I know I’ll be using these over and over!):

And the best news is that all these products are 20% off today and tomorrow! Go grab them quick!

Ready for Spring?

Mari Koegelenberg has a new kit in the store today: it’s an adorable collab with Madame Wing!

As much as I love winter, I’m quite ready for spring now.. Here’s my page! πŸ™‚

So Excited!!

I am so excited that Tangie Baxter is guesting at ScrapMatters this month!!! πŸ˜‰
And for her first week, she came out with a myriad of incredible products!! They are almost all grouped in this great bundle:

Here’s what I did with it:

Certainly not my usual style.. but I loved it! πŸ˜‰
There’s another new product out today at SM that I really must show you:

Happy Friday! πŸ˜‰

New Month..

A new month has started, and this means there’s a new Sweet & Simple kit by Gina Marie Huff at the Weeds & Wildflowers store!

I squeezed in some time in this crazy week (I handed in my take home midterm today, one day early, because I was so done with it!) and did two pages with this fabulous kit.

I looooove how this one turned out!!
Then I finally finished scrapping the pictures of these adorable dogs! πŸ™‚

I can’t wait to use this kit for my P365 pages. Yeah, I know.. I’m a bit behind, but I’ll catch up eventually! I actually have a couple of weeks done already that I haven’t posted yet. πŸ™‚

I’m Still Speechless!

When I saw the gorgeous, amazing, huge collab that Britt-ish Designs and Sahlin Studio put together, I was absolutely speechless! And I’m still speechless, because there is so much gorgeousness in this collab, that I feel like I could scrap a whole album with it, and not be tired! πŸ™‚
Let me show you what I’m talking about. First, there’s this kit:

84ee00b1b07f6ca26d28250f2f82f0ad[1]

Which is completely stunning by itself. But it’s not all! There is a series of add-ons, for many different countries! Here’s the bundle (they are available for sale separately, but the bundle is more convenient):

2851b90dd2db318c236686e38c0e820a[1]

There’s also a mega bundle that saves you the most $$$:

So far I only played with the kit, but let me tell you… it’s fabulous! πŸ˜‰ Here’s my page:

A few weeks ago I fortuitously realized it was something like 980 days since our wedding day, so I told DH, we saved the date, and last week we celebrated our 1000th day since our wedding. πŸ˜‰ We like to celebrate fun things like that! πŸ™‚ Plus, it’s really a special number, if you think about it! πŸ˜‰

We had a lot of snow these past couple of days, and let me tell you, it’s really gorgeous!!

I Know..

I know, I’ve been unusually silent these past few days. Well, the fact is, I’ve been busy with a ton of administrative work (we had a CT call at ScrapMatters, plus I’ve been working on some banners), and haven’t had much time to create (well, I did work on a very cute project this weekend, but since it’s for March’s newletter, I can’t show it yet..).
But, I do have a few things to show you nonetheless. πŸ™‚ Here’s the project I made for the February newsletter at ScrapMatters. If you aren’t signed up yet, you really should, because apart from my tutorials, which you understandably may not be interested in ;), there’s a lot of inspiring articles, and a free kit every month!
This project is for St. Patrick’s Day (as if you couldn’t tell.. ha!) and was made using the free kit that came with the newsletter.

Next, a couple of pages with Friday’s new releases at ScrapMatters. I absolutely LOVE anything that Jennifer Barrette designs.. and this gorgeous kit is no exception!

An adorable kit.. for adorable puppies!

Next, take a look at these stitches by Chelle’s Creations:

These have endless possibilities! The stitches and the holes come on different layers, so it’s really easy to shadow them properly! I love these stitches!!

That’s it for now, but I scrapped tonight, so I will have something to show you on Friday! πŸ˜‰
