P365/2011

New year, new decisions… In 2009 I did Project 365, and I loved it. Last year I started it again, but fell off the wagon. This year, I am committed to doing it again. I love my 2009 books and want to keep at it. To make things easier for me, I have decided to keep in multiple pictures for every day. My P365 isn’t about taking a good picture each day: it’s about writing my life, so I will use as many pictures as I see fit. I might get bored of scrapping so many pictures throughout the year, so we’ll see how it goes, but the first 2 weeks have been fun so far. 🙂

Good to Be Home!

Having spent most of December away from home, my creating habits have been thrown off a bit. It is so good to be home! This week I was able to sneak in a little time to be crafty and use my Silhouette. I had missed it during the holidays! 🙂
Jenn Barrette’s today’s new release at The LilyPad was just screaming ‘hybrid’ to me!

Isn’t this kit just adorable?? The patterns are so unique, and all the phone elements are too cute for words! And the best part is that it’s 30% off for the weekend!

Wow, I cannot believe that December is almost gone! I have done very little craft-wise this month, because of a two and a half week trip back home for Christmas. The only thing I did was scrap 4 pages with the new December kit by Gina Marie Huff. I scrapped the first in the airport waiting for our connection, then did 3 more pages one of the first days of my trip. 🙂 This collection was perfect to scrap some of my December pictures! Here’s the new goodies Gina put together:

I had hoped to have more free time during my trip (I was planning to take detailed pictures of my December Daily album… but I haven’t been able to do that, so that will have to wait until I catch up with other things now that I’m back home!). But of course I’m not complaining, it was good to see friends and family! I love this last picture of my parents & me. 🙂

Christmas Cards: Mission Accomplished!

Last week I finished the last Christmas cards I needed. They turned out quite pretty! 🙂 Since then, all my (little) free time has gone in putting together the December Daily album (which is now 99% complete), so look out to see some pages of that soon. 🙂 I’m actually not looking forward to taking pictures of all the pages I made – there are so many! So the plan is to take pictures after I’ve added photos and journaling, not of the blank pages.
