Since I’m doing Project 365 and doing 2 LOs for each week, I wasn’t planning on doing monthly summaries.. But then this month’s workshop at The DigiChick is exactly that, and when I saw the template for the first monthly summary, I couldn’t resist. So, I guess now I’m doing monthly summaries. 🙂

Lots of Projects, Not Enough Time!

I’ve been doing so many things lately than I hardly have time to blog them! 😉

After a few weeks of quiet, I have gotten back to doing some hybrid cuteness. 🙂

I love all the goodies I picked up at TDC this weekend: I got some gorgeous kits by Sugarplum Paperie (Meadowlark, My Heart’s Song and Strawberry Cafe Revisited), Pamela Donnis’ grab bag and Mira Designs’ grab bag. Just AWESOME! 😉 Too much good stuff, and too many projects, if only I had enough time to do it all! 🙂

NSD is over and I must say I really had fun! However, I didn’t win anything.. 🙁 Too bad, because there were some great, great giveaways! Well, at least I took advantage of the sales and picked up some great freebies.

NSD Fun

There’s lots of games and sales going on for NSD and I’ve had lots of fun so far!

There’s a 40% sale at TheDigiChick and I picked up some gorgeous stuff from Sugarplum Paperie. Scrapmatters is at 40% too!
But more importantly, I got some scrapping done! 😉

Happy NSD!

Last night DH and I bought, installed and cooked on a new grill!!! We’re so happy to finally have it! 😀
Unfortunately, the weather was bad (windy and rainy), but luckily we have a covered deck. Still, it was a bit chilly and it took us over 2 hours to assemble it (opposed to the 45 minutes that was estimated in the instructions), nonetheless it was worth it! 😀

Happy NSD everyone! I have lots of work to do and tonight I’m volunteering at an event at our Church (DH signed me up without knowing it was NSD..) so I’ll probably partecipate in the fun events starting from tomorrow. I have work to do in the weekend, but I hope to squeeze in a few games and scrapping. 😉 Hope you all enjoy the big sales and have fun with the social events!

Getting Ready for NSD

This week is super busy for me: the end of the semester has arrived and I have many deadlines and projects to end. Anyway, I managed to scrap a couple pages and I finally reached the 60 points at ScrapMatters: this grants me a $5.50 GC, although I’m afraid I might not get it in time for NSD.

I’m pretty excited for all the sales and fun challenges that will be going on during the weekend for National Scrapbooking Day! I really cannot wait! 😉

Then I scrapped a picture from this weekend. It’s not our best picture unfortunately, but you do get those too, and I wanted to scrap it anyway. I’m quite pleased with how the page turned out in the end, considering I really didn’t like the picture..

I still have some challenges to do at TheDigiChick but I don’t think I’ll scrap much this week because I’ll be pretty busy with my life.. Also, I expect next weekend (and the whole month of May) to be filled with challenges and scrapping opportunities, so I figure it’s best to get some rest and save a few good pictures for then (and oh do I have some good ones!! 😉 ).

This has been a great weekend: after almost a year of waiting, we found and almost bought a grill and patio furniture!!!!!! 😀 Last year we couldn’t afford it, but we’ll enjoy it this year and the years to come! 🙂 We didn’t actually but these things yet but we will this week! 😉

Picture Week

I did 2 pages today so I’m here to share. BTW, I’ve developed a very bad habit as of late: I scrap in the morning before going to work… This is really serious: it proves how addicted I am! 🙂 It started because I go in late on Tuesdays and Thursdays since I have class at 9:40 A.M., but I have a feeling this sneaky habit will not go away after next week, even though the semester is at a close! 😉

Anyway, here’s the first LO, one for my favorite challenge at ScrapMatters, My Story Matters. This one was about childhood friends.
This girl was my best friend from kindergarten up to 6th grade, and my parents never took a picture of just the two of us, how sad is that??!
Then I scrapped another page with a picture I took today.
This week I took many gorgeous pictures. I started preparing my 2-pager for Project 365 and I’m in love with this week already! 🙂 Can’t wait to finish it, but there’s 3 more days of taking pictures before I can do that. 😉
