Have you seen the new photo splits by Molly DeCrow??
They are gorgeous! I love rounded corners! 🙂 I decided to use them for a P365 spread, and they worked beautifully!

I was picked for gallery spotlight at Weeds & Wildflowers! You can see a couple of LOs I made for the interview on the W&W blog. 😉
I had fun making these pages! 🙂
I’m taking a short break in an extraordinarily busy work week to show you Molly DeCrow’s latest kit, because – true to its name – it is absolutely delightful and you don’t want to miss it!
There’s also a beautiful coordinating pack of word art and little bits:
Both are 20% off right now, but if you purchase the kit you get the extras for free!! So don’ miss them! Here’s what I scrapped so far:
This kit is absolutely gorgeous and there are so many fantastic elements I wanted to keep adding them to my page! I will certainly scrap more pages with this kit because I am totally in love. (BTW, 2/2 of my Anthropologie purchases have been scrapped with Molly’s designs. Coincidence? 😉 )
No news here, I’m behind on my P365. 😉 But this year I’m going to keep at it. It’s too important to me to document these little things! I am 2 weeks behind now. I think this new idea of keeping in multiple pictures per day is making it really time consuming to edit and fit in all the pictures. But I do like to have many pictures to tell the story, so I’ll try to keep doing it. 🙂
Having many pictures and a ton of journaling makes it really hard to be creative on the design, though.
But I really like how page 2 of my Week 5 turned out. 🙂 Oh, and have you noticed another rule I’ve decided to break? I am including pictures not by me this year, so I finally get to end up in the P365 book. 😉
Since I will be busy all day at work on Monday with a visitor, DH and I decided to have our Valentine Day celebration 2 days early. Actually, I pushed strongly for it because I couldn’t wait to exchange gifts! 🙂 So I gave DH his Week 7 card today: a Valentine!
You can see the Week 7 card here. 🙂 Happy Valentine’s Day/Weekend!
So…. have you seen the amazing baby collection Sahlin Studio has out today??
Let me show you the kit up close:
Isn’t it just adorable?! I don’t have kids, but this collection was just too pretty, so I made me some cards. 😉 I made them all in one night, I was on a roll! (and of course all the bits fit nicely on one sheet of paper… you know me! 😉 ) First off, a couple of mini cards that will go great to go along a shower gift:
Then there’s this card. I am so in love with that teddy bear, it’s the cutest ever! I can totally see using this to make a pretty wall art for a nursery!
Finally, I made a simple love card. I totally see this collection working great to scrap LOs even for kid-less people like me!
I am going to try to add some gold glitter to this over the flourish, but didn’t have time during the week. Glitter can get messy and I didn’t want to risk a major spill on the kitchen table! 😉
This has been a very cold winter so far. I don’t mind, because the cold doesn’t bother me nearly as much as heat, and I love snow, but it has been pretty cold. The coldest since we’ve been living here. So I had to make a page. 🙂
Have a nice day!
The number of paper scrapbooking blogs in my blog roll is steadily increasing, and I find myself drawing more and more inspiration from traditional scrapbooking. This week I was really inspired by this layout by Jen Jockish. So when I saw Jenn Barrette’s new release I immediately knew what to do with it.
This paper pack is a basic must-have for digital scrapbookers. But guess what? It is great for hybrid too. Check it out!
Rolling the paper was quite fun, and therapeutic too. I thought a bit while I was doing it and it did me good! 🙂 Paper is probably my favorite part of digital kits, and I just loved picking out all the pretty papers I used for this card!
ETA 2/23: I got a Hybrid Gallery Standout at Sweet Shoppe Designs for this card! 😉
I started out by making this card, using about a gazillion pretty papers from several of Jenn’s kits. And then I liked it so much that I went back and made another one just using all the pretty colors in the kraft paper pack.
I will write a sentiment on the card, but since I’m not particularly fond of my handwriting, I didn’t want to risk spoiling it, so I took pictures before that. 🙂
Yum!
ETA: I got a gallery standout at Me So Scrappy for this card.
A couple of years I got into making cupcakes. I made only three batches after I lost interest (I’m very proud of how my cupcakes turned out, but making them is quite a bit of work, and I’d rather spend time paper crafting. 🙂 ) So when I saw Jenn Barrette’s contribution to the February BYOC (Build Your Own Collab) at The Lily Pad, I knew just what I’d use it for.
Isn’t this mini kit just adorable? So I made an adorable album about the cupcakes I made.
I used stickles to add sparkle and glossy accents for the title.
Beads to make sprinkles.
I colored some white flowers by Prima with worn lipstick distress ink (same color I used to ink all the edges).
A mix of digital flowers and real flowers. The ribbon from the kit is so cute!
Sooooo pretty! 😉
We’re a few weeks into the new year, and I feel it is safe for me to share one of the resolutions I made for 2011. This didn’t start out as a resolution, rather as a “wouldn’t it be nice if…”, but now I want to commit to doing it because I think it’s really cool. 🙂 So, welcome to my Project 52 Cards! This year I will give to DH 52 cards, one per week. Here is a recap of the first 6 weeks.
