The news is that I created my first 2 QPs, with Bree’s new kit Lavender Mint-Berry Cream, and they will soon be available for you, along with some other gorgeous QPs by the Scrap’it Girls! 🙂 Just be patient and wait a couple of days.. 😉

A Lift

I did a LO for the scraplifting challenge at ScrapMatters (it’s called Grand Theft Layout 🙂 ).
We had to lift our choice of LO by kkklatt, and I picked this beauty here.

Here’s my lift:

I made this to match this page. I really love this kit!!

ScrapOrchard CT Contest

ScrapOrchard is having a CT contest.

For the first assignment, we were provided a (very cute!!) kit and had to create 2 layouts.

Here’s what I did:

I don’t know how many people will pass to the 2nd round, nor do I know how long the process is to get into the CT.. Anyway, since I love SO and I love challenges, I’m doing my best to stay in till the end! 😉

Happy DSD

Happy DSD everyone! I didn’t do much since I didn’t have much time to stay at the computer (DH and I spent a couple hours in the garden this morning to gather leaves!!), but I did get a couple kits with the special sales.

I also did a LO for the Saturday Special challenge at ScrapMatters, on white space.
I used Bree’s new kit, Lavender Mint-berry Cream, it’s just adorable!!

The page really came together in no time, but I spent lots of time on getting the photo presentable. The picture was really bad and washed out because of the strong light. After struggling to get the levels balanced, I had to give in and acknowledge I couldn’t fix it. So I just changed the saturation, duplicated the photo a few times and changed the opacity, and used a textured background for it.
I’m quite happy with the result and I think it’s really suited to this page!
